I turned my head left and right, carefully scanning the face reflected in the mirror.

It was dark because the light wasn’t coming in properly, but I could still make out the face.

Dark, brownish skin.

Ashen hair, as if the color had drained out.

Understanding the situation takes priority over the fact that I’ve been possessed by this story’s mastermind and final boss.

First, I need to figure out where I am.

…Though it’s pretty obvious it’s a prison cell without even needing to confirm.

I tiptoed over to the iron bars and looked around.

It wasn’t just a small detention center—it seemed like a full-blown prison, with cells lined up densely.

And inside, people were just sitting around, killing time.

Some wore prison-like clothes with expressions as if their souls had left their bodies, while others were crouched in corners with their heads down.

The scene in the cell, with kids, adults, and elderly all mixed together… it felt less like a gathering of criminals and more like a bunch of guinea pigs.

So, yeah.
