Why… why has it come to this?

“The title awaits you, as does the territory—all prepared in your honor. Can’t you see? The lands and people before your very eyes shall all belong to you.”

A woman of extraordinary beauty and grace, her long golden hair shining so brightly it hurts to look at, gazes at me as she speaks.

“Did I not already say it, Swoen? You are mine. For you, I could give everything—fortune, honor, power… Even the surname ‘Einhardt’ itself, if you so desire. You know what that means, don’t you? Neither Lin Brance nor Baranga Yuri Aishias could offer you anything like what I can.”

She stares directly into my eyes…

As if gazing upon something impossibly precious, she continues.

“But even if that weren’t enough… you will *never* escape me. You’re mine forever. It was decided from the moment we first met—it’s fate. Heheh…♥”

Why…?

Her smile softens, yet her gaze remains piercing. Then, with a sudden girlish twinkle in her eye, she asks me the same question she always does.

“So… tell me now. Grant me your [Mind’s Eye Prophecy]. Serpina von Einhardt wishes to know: Can I claim this world within my hands?”

Against my will, when asked, I must foresee.

I pause, deep in thought.

Could she truly become the unifying monarch who brings peace to this chaotic era and seize control of the world?

The answer comes almost instantly, absurdly simple due to my Intellect stat being maxed out at 100.

And once again, I find myself delivering the same response I’ve given her countless times before.

“…My Lord, you cannot grasp the world.”
