In Neo Haven,
…so whether it was the original game or the supposedly more refined version of Neo Haven Prime, thanks to someone’s influence, there was no such feature or concept as a “recollection room” or “gallery.”
Why? Well… even if the game had systems like affinity and various other contents or scenes, it seemed the developers didn’t bother to create shortcuts meant for very specific purposes only.
This could be considered a pretty reasonable decision, especially since the game leaned heavily towards open-world and shooting genres. Of course, it was also fortunate in that it avoided criticism as a potentially questionable “ero-game” by not providing such functionalities, even though there were complaints from users.
…However, users always find a way.
Despite the absurd level of overtechnology that could detect file modifications with incredible precision, Chaos Point did not block users from creating dedicated saves just before key scenes, or even naming them with complicated titles like “Valentine Sisters Special Event.”
Taking it a step further, some ambitious users, progressing through New Game Plus multiple times, uncovered an entertaining Easter egg. Rather than painstakingly compiling separate save files, they discovered that by following the scenarios and quests, the protagonist could utilize an Elysium-based reconstruction simulation originally intended for investigation purposes.
Note that the player doesn’t directly work for Elysium but instead uses a contact in the organization to request such simulations. Regardless, the game surprisingly allowed free-form simulations unrelated to the current quest, and if the inputs lined up perfectly, absurdly strange scenes were sometimes generated!
Moreover, these included behind-the-scenes moments many users were curious about, as well as highly engaging content, however far-fetched from reality it might be.
Thus, without restrictions in the system, with sufficient trial-and-error and observation, even speculative if possibilities could arise through repeated attempts.
It was part of that vague, fantastic storytelling—a future where convenience might inadvertently be sketched.
“…I don’t know if this is really a good thing.”
The girl, Anastasia—who currently worked for Enema Corporation under the Macarovich identity—murmured to herself while rinsing her mouth with an electric toothbrush in front of the bathroom mirror.
Of course, no matter how much she muttered, the reflection in the glass wouldn’t provide her any new insights, nor would it solve her unresolved questions.
Strictly speaking, this was more of an inner justification to convince herself that her decision wasn’t wrong.
“…”
Cybertime indicated early summer. Exactly the night Kasane Amagi’s head was stepped on in public during her downfall, and the location remained her private room at Enema Corporation headquarters.
Up until yesterday, she was determined to escape under the guise of an important personal mission, taking advantage of the reduced surveillance. However, at the last moment, instead of forcefully breaking out, Anastasia decided against it. More accurately, she decided against it herself.
Why? The reasons were straightforward.
She despised Kai
