The massive body of Ibizho, as big as a house, smoothly moved backward.
A really small movement.
But even that tiny movement was caught by me, who was in an awakened state.
Thinking it was the right timing to attack, I took a step forward and immediately realized I had made a mistake.
‘Iron Mountain Strike…!’
I thought Ibizho would pull back, but instead, it was pulling me in. Knowing what Ibizho was about to do, I hurriedly raised my greatsword.
Thud!!!
“Ugh…!”
Ibizho’s massive body, as big as a house, slammed into me, forcing all the air out of my lungs in an instant.
Overwhelmed by the sheer force, my body floated up and was sent flying.
“Grr…!”
My health dropped drastically in an instant, and the stun meter that had been building up exploded all at once, leaving me unable to get up from the ground.
I couldn’t even move a finger.
Ibizho’s follow-up tail attack brought my health down to 10%, and only then did the stun wear off.
“That… that was close…”
While I was putting away my weapon and desperately running away while drinking a potion, I received a whisper.
I don’t know why they whispered to me, but the timing was perfect.
I quickly ran away and sent my server code to Jindaru.
Not long after, Jindaru appeared in front of me.
“Whoa… what the heck is that size…”
Even Jindaru, a seasoned player, was stunned when he saw the Ibizho chasing me.
Judging by Jindaru’s reaction, the Ibizho chasing me wasn’t just big—it was ridiculously huge.
It was probably at its maximum size, what we call a “Gold Crown.”
For those who don’t know, in Monster Hunter, monsters don’t always appear at the same size. Their size changes randomly each time they spawn, with smaller sizes having less health and larger sizes having more health.
The smallest and largest sizes are called Gold Crowns, and the sizes in between are Silver Crowns.
So the Ibizho trying to kill me right now is a Gold Crown—the maximum size.
Even Jindaru, a veteran, was stunned by it.
But now wasn’t the time for that.
“Don’t just stand there, help me!!!”
“Ah, got it!”
Jindaru pulled out a thin sword from his back and charged at Ibizho.
Thud!
“Ugh!”
“…?”
Jindaru, who had charged in so heroically, was sent flying far away by Ibizho’s massive tail.
==
Jindaru got up after drinking a recovery potion.
“This is insane… just how big is it…!”
The attack range and scale of this Ibizho were completely different from what he was used to.
He had hunted over 200 Ibizhos before. Even if he made mistakes while hunting, he never misjudged their attack range.
This Ibizho was almost 1.5 times bigger than the largest one he had ever faced.
Because of that, he couldn’t dodge what should have been an easy-to-miss tail swipe and got hit.
Thud!
Roar!!!
“Oops!”
Jindaru quickly snapped back to attention and ran toward the battle.
‘I need to recognize that its attack range is bigger than usual!’
“Ugh…!”
“Strength contest…!”
Arang, who wouldn’t even flinch if she stepped on someone while passing by, was in a strength contest with Ibizho.
Ibizho, with teeth as big as a child, was trying to devour Arang, who was blocking its bite with a massive greatsword.
Strength contest.
When certain conditions are met, monsters and hunters can engage in a strength contest. This system provides a long stun time for the monster, offering a damage window during multiplayer.
The problem is that in VR, strength contests have become incredibly difficult.
The intimidation, fear, and overwhelming size and strength of the monster make it hard for even seasoned players to win a strength contest.
But Arang, with her overwhelming physicality despite having no limbs, managed to win the strength contest against Ibizho.
Jindaru quickly attacked Ibizho with his sword, and Arang naturally won the strength contest, knocking Ibizho down.
Starting with the strength contest, Arang and Jindaru moved to hunt Ibizho.

‘Her physicality is insane.’
Jindaru, who was attacking Ibizho alongside Arang, was amazed by her incredible physicality.
‘She must be an athlete or something.’
She was freely controlling a body over 180 cm tall while perfectly wielding a greatsword.
Since transitioning to VR, the greatsword has become a weapon many people avoid.
With high-performance AI, monsters no longer follow set attack patterns but act like living creatures, making the greatsword’s long wind-up and recovery times a turn-off for many players.
‘With just her physicality and sense, she’s fighting Ibizho like this despite being new to the game.’
Even though I’ve hunted over 200 Ibizhos, this ridiculously huge Ibizho felt overwhelming, yet Chicken Without Legs was calmly hunting it.
‘But her greatsword play isn’t that great.’
Despite her occasional flashes of brilliance, her greatsword management was laughable.
The True Charged Slash is indeed a powerful attack, but the setup required is so extensive that it’s hard to land.
So, usually, the True Charged Slash is only used when the monster is stunned, trapped, or otherwise immobilized.
But some players use what’s called the “Prayer Meta.”
They just pray that the monster will get hit while they use the True Charged Slash.
But Ibizho is a tricky monster for the Prayer Meta.
There’s a reason people call it the “Crazy Ibizho.”

‘This lunatic…!’
It’s just too big.
Ibizho was so huge that my greatsword couldn’t even reach its head.
Because of that, it took nearly 40 minutes to take it down.
But the sense of accomplishment when Jindaru’s attack and mine finally took down Ibizho was indescribable.
“Phew… as expected, a maximum size Gold Crown. Good job, Chicken Without Legs.”
“Thanks for the help.”
I definitely couldn’t have done it alone.
Come to think of it, why did Jindaru whisper to me?
“By the way, why did you whisper to me?”
“Ah, right. It’s because—”
“Huh…?”
Listening to Jindaru, it turned out that people had suddenly flocked to his stream and started asking about me.
Jindaru guessed it was because of my username, but what’s wrong with my username?
I mean, I did come up with it pretty casually, but it’s not something people would hate, right?
Internet people are just hard to understand.
Chicken Without Legs.
It’s just a name I thought of because of chicken breast and my lack of limbs.
“I’m sorry. I tried to handle it, but there were too many people, and I couldn’t control it.”
“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it.”
“Really, I’m sorry. If there’s anything I can do to help, let me know.”
“Sure.”
Anyway, people who complain about my username are just keyboard warriors, right?
That’s what I thought, but I realized these people were crazier than I expected.
==
Friend requests started pouring in like crazy.
‘Did I get exposed on Jindaru’s stream?’
On top of that, whenever I casually opened a server and entered Monster Hunter, people would subtly start interfering with my hunts, like pulling other monsters over or indirectly disrupting me.
It felt less like direct harassment and more like passive-aggressive interference.
At first, I just brushed it off, but as it kept happening, I started getting annoyed.
It’s already hard to control my emotions during my period, and now this is happening, so I’m getting a bit angry.
I don’t think everyone on the internet is sane.
Anonymity just brings out the worst in people—haters, trolls, and critics.

[Arang found out.]
Guys, Arang finally found out about Chicken Without Legs.
From the post, it seems she’s even more hurt because of Chicken Without Legs.
We need to make Chicken Without Legs change their username ASAP.
If even Arang, who rarely gets angry, is this upset, it’s serious.
We need to make Chicken Without Legs change their name quickly.

We need to do something fast. But how? This is Monster Hunter, which can be played solo.
ㄴThat’s the problem. There’s no way to contact them.
Sometimes they casually open multiplayer, and I’ve tried joining random servers to find them. When I did, I really messed with them.
ㄴWait, you just randomly searched servers? That’s insane.
ㄴFor our Arang, even that grind is worth it.
ㄴYou’re seriously crazy, lol.
