The Gos Hawk was motionless, blood trickling from his nose.
I wondered if he were dead, but with his chest still heaving, it seemed he was still breathing.
But how could Gos Hawk have been defeated?
Gos Hawk is an active A-rank hero, and as far as I know, Professor Hyun, on the other hand, is a completely retired C-rank hero…
“Student Song Do-yoon.”
Song Do-yoon flinched and turned around.
Professor Hyun, who had silently descended to the ground, was looking down at Song Do-yoon.
“Let’s go. Let’s take care of the treatment first, then we can talk.”
“Ah… yes…”
* * * * *
There were several reasons why I had offended Gos Hawk, but the biggest one was because of Song Do-yoon.
Song Do-yoon had just joined our team and was maintaining a very uncomfortable relationship between Yu Hye-won and Professor Han.
In team-based combat, such minor feelings can become a major weakness, potentially leading to the entire team’s demise.
Thus, Song Do-yoon needed to be integrated into our team somehow.
She had kept her distance from me, and I knew why: Song Do-yoon liked Professor Han, and Professor Han liked me.
But at the very least, she needed to engage emotionally with her homeroom professor, and this seemed like a good opportunity.
So I deliberately pressured Gos Hawk, escalating into a duel.
Truthfully, I hadn’t anticipated a duel.
Though I really did mean to file a complaint.
Even if I’m no longer an active hero but an academy professor, I can’t just sit idly by while a hero like him continues unchecked.
I have to remain here at the academy, and continuously take on new students. Who’s to say something like this won’t happen again?
But Gos Hawk proved to be a bit unhinged, even challenging me to a duel.
Probably confident due to his A-rank status. Regardless, the result was as I expected.
The fight-style of a Sikrito is beneath contempt and, when fighting in such a brutish manner, Gos Hawk was no match for me.
Song Do-yoon received treatment at a nearby emergency room.
Given the small size of the thorns embedded in her body and the manageable injuries, it was judged unnecessary to visit the academy dispensary.
At the hospital’s administrative office, I settled the treatment charges, retrieved the bill and diagnosis report.
This would later be submitted to the administrative office, and the academy would formally bill Gos Hawk’s office.
“How are you feeling now? Can you move?”
“Yes. I’m fine.”
Song Do-yoon’s wounds were already almost healed.
Individuals with aura typically heal quickly, and since the thorns were small and the wounds minor, her recovery was swift.
“In that case, let’s get in the car. We’ve somewhere to go.”
While driving, I reprimanded Song Do-yoon sternly.
“Student Song Do-yoon, didn’t I explicitly tell you to call me immediately if I assign you to something too strenuous?”
“I’m sorry, Professor. It was hard to refuse.”
“I see… I understand. But it could have been a serious situation.”
“Yes…”
I let out a soft sigh and smiled.
“It’s fortunate that nothing serious happened. And forget about the Gos Hawk office from now on.”
“I understand. But…”
Song Do-yoon hesitated before asking.
“What happens to my internship?”
“Don’t worry. We’ll reassign you to another location.”
“Could I know which site?”
“Actually, we’re almost there.”
In front of us, a blue, purple, and golden aura trailed as it landed.
Legalmight and the children must have just finished a field request.
Though I feel bad about it, I’ll have to ask Legalmight to supervise Song Do-yoon for the internship.
Finding a new internship location right away is difficult, and unlike Yu Hye-won, Song Do-yoon can’t cover her internship score in other ways.
Thus, I must ensure she completes the rest of her internship by hook or by crook.
Aware of my intentions, Song Do-yoon stood quietly with her hands clasped while I spoke with Legalmight.
Fortunately, Legalmight agreed to take Song Do-yoon as well.
“Thanks. I’ll treat you to a meal someday.”
“You should only make promises you can keep. Anyway, take good care, Student Do-yoon.”
“Yes.”
That way, after all the fuss, all three of my guidance students ended up at Legalmight’s office.
What a mess.

After the professor had left, Yu Hye-won approached Song Do-yoon.
“What happened? Did you cause trouble again?”
“No, it’s not like that.”
“But why did the professor keep pestering you, yet you stayed only a few days in the Gos Hawk office?”
“That happened.”
Song Do-yoon didn’t intend to tell Yu Hye-won about the sexual harassment from Gos Hawk.
The shock was so great that even just recalling it made her heart race.
“Hmm. What is it? Hey, what’s this on your arm?”
Yu Hye-won poked the bandages covering Song Do-yoon’s arm with her fingertips.
“Did you fight a villain or something?”
“I don’t really want to talk about it.”
“Huh?”
As Yu Hye-won emitted an aura from her eyes, Han Min-ha quickly intervened.
“Hye-won, stop. There’s obviously something difficult for her to talk about, right? Isn’t that so, Do-yoon?”
“Um… yes.”
Seeing Han Min-ha, who had been so desirable during the internship period, now looking at her awkwardly with a faint smile, Song Do-yoon grew confused.
Why did she no longer feel anything for him?
“Are you okay?”
“No, no, I’m fine.”
Collecting herself, Song Do-yoon quickly headed for the restroom.
Locking the door and standing in front of the sink, Song Do-yoon stared fixedly at her reflection in the mirror.
The feel of Gos Hawk’s hands groping her.
The look in Gos Hawk’s eyes demanding she smoke a cigarette.
Gos Hawk’s smirk ordering her to change clothes in front of him.
Song Do-yoon found these actions repelling, and wondered if perhaps Han Min-ha viewed her the same way.
Self-loathing began to well up within her.
The lengths she had gone to secure Han Min-ha’s affection: deliberately messing up the training drill formation, purchasing equipment to eavesdrop, attempting to attack her the night before the internship.
And what was the purpose of going to Gos Hawk’s office anyway?
To get stronger, to be responsible for Han Min-ha, and, if rejected, to force her…
CRACK!!
Song Do-yoon slapped herself hard across the cheek.
She couldn’t suppress the crawling sensation that began rising from below her chest.
After slapping the other cheek, Song Do-yoon stared again at the mirror.
Her face was starting to swell, but amidst it all, another thought came to mind.
It was the professor who had carried her and confronted Gos Hawk.
The professor’s strong arms and cold, furious expression were etched vividly in her memory.
Professor had grown angry for her and even dueled with Gos Hawk.
Therefore, Song Do-yoon was confused.
Since the first time she felt attraction to a woman, she had never been so disoriented.
Changing from heterosexual to homosexual, or from homosexual to heterosexual, was not an easy feat…
“Stop it!”
Song Do-yoon shouted and slapped her cheeks again.
Snap out of it, Song Do-yoon. Don’t falter.
The professor is just my homeroom teacher, and the conflict with Gos Hawk was over internship regulations.
There’s no way the professor would have risked so much for me.
The professor has always had a rule-following and conventional personality, that’s all.
And if the professor had any special regard for me, wouldn’t I have been included when hugging Yu Hye-won and Han Min-ha before we departed for the internship site?
Yet, the professor excluded me. Isn’t that proof?
So snap out of it, Song Do-yoon. The professor didn’t do it for you.
“I get it, alright?! Leave me alone!”
Song Do-yoon harshly scolded herself.
* * * * *
“Wahhhhh!! Hye-won! It’s chaos!”
Yu Hye-won turned as Han Min-ha ran towards her, chest heaving.
“What is it?”
“Do-yoon’s locked herself in the bathroom, and there’s strange noises coming from inside!”
“What kind of noises?”
Though Yu Hye-won initially acted like it was no big deal, Han Min-ha anxiously grabbed her arm.
“There’s yelling and sounds of hitting. I’m scared! Come with me!”
“Ugh, this is annoying. What’s that crazy woman…?!”
As the bathroom door opened, Yu Hye-won quickly pulled Han Min-ha behind her and took a few steps back.
Song Do-yoon, with both cheeks swollen and her hair wildly tousled, looked impassively at Yu Hye-won and Han Min-ha as they pressed against the wall.
“What happened to you?!”
“Mind your own business.”
“Tch, this crazy girl really…”
