Chapter 6

TryitTV Wooseung: Biscode, come in.

TryitTV Wooseung: Sending link via private message.

Game Results Screen.

The horrifying word “Defeat” hung in the air. Wooseung grit his teeth, sharpening the blade of his revenge.

He had become complacent.

He had assumed that with five Masters, victory was guaranteed.

He had grown complacent.

He thought, “If we do it again, we’ll do better.”

But deep down…

[Legend42 kills 42, deaths 0, assists 6. Is this right?]

[Nickname fits the trash.]

[Why on earth would you turn on the Biscode so ostentatiously lol? Didn’t you mock them before? Do you even need voice chat for someone like that lmao lol]>

[If you’re gonna get stomped like this, at least flail around a bit.]

[Masters tier is overhyped, maybe?]

[Seriously, what’s the difference between Silver/Bronze and Master? Lol]

The ridicule struck Wooseung hard, targeting the one thing he truly valued: his tier—a symbol of his life’s achievement and pride.

“Shut up, kids.”

[Huh?]

[2nd phase of extreme rage from Wooseung. Wow.]

[He’s talking to the viewers? This explains why he’s stuck in the lower tiers forever lol.]

[I commented that he played poorly last time and got kicked immediately lol.]

(Message temporarily banned and removed.)

[There’s no such thing as an unjustified failure.]

(Message temporarily banned and removed.)

“Only Masters tier and above can chat.”

The only edge he had over his viewers—his tier—he wielded like a weapon, attempting to silence them. But it didn’t matter to the anonymous masses of spectators who cared little for his threats.

[Didn’t all those Masters just get crushed by Legend?]

[If Masters tier and below can’t chat, what makes him superior?]

[First-ever stream where the host himself cannot chat.]

[Lmao lol lol lol lol.]

[Alright everyone, today we’ll explore the differences between ‘greater than or equal to’ and ‘less than or equal to.’ ]

[Stop it, you’re gonna make him cry.]

Amidst the torrent of mockery, a crack formed in Wooseung’s psyche. He regretted turning on his stream. There was only one way to regain his standing:

Defeat the Legend.

Fortunately, his Biscode settings were still intact, and they had intel—Legend hadn’t joined the game yet.

“There they are!”

Through precise coordination, Wooseung’s team once again managed to catch the Legend by surprise. A second round of revenge was about to begin.

This time, they had a strategy.

“Focus on skirmishes and confirm Legend’s position.”

“Bro Wooseung! Watch me!”

The game began with only ten respawn and start points available. While respawn points could overlap, starting positions were unique for every player. Through continuous skirmishes, Wooseung’s teammates hoped to pinpoint Legend’s starting location.

Five starting positions were covered by allies, and three enemies were already spotted. That left only two possible locations for Legend: Northwest Tower Cap or Jungle Right.

Among Masters tier players, words weren’t necessary. They knew the terrain well after countless battles. Splitting into groups of two or three, they moved toward the final locations.

The plan they had agreed upon during pre-game voice chat was simple but effective: Stay in groups of two or more and relentlessly hunt down Legend. Meanwhile, other teammates would focus on leveling up. After all, apart from Legend, the remaining four players on the opposing team were mere rookies, insignificant compared to the strength of Wooseung’s team.

All they had to do was suppress Legend’s growth.

At first glance, the strategy seemed foolproof. But…

“Shit! Why the hell are they dodging so well?”

“Argh!”

Of course, this would only work if a group of two was strong enough to handle one-on-one encounters. The problem arose when Wooseung’s team mistakenly thought they had spotted Legend—only to realize too late it was the other way around.

Like a frog encountering a hawk, there was no contest. And just as the hawk effortlessly snacks on the helpless amphibian, so too did Legend dismantle Wooseung’s team.

“CC skills mean nothing if you can’t land them!”

“They’re dodging perfectly!”

[Are they dodging well or just failing to hit? Always debatable.]

[Legend’s movement is insane. ]

[They keep dodging and hitting everything back. Lmao. No wonder you can’t win.]

[Legend! Legend! Legend! Legend!]

Within moments, two Masters were obliterated. A cold sweat trickled down the back of Wooseung’s neck. This wasn’t just any game anymore—it was a battle for masculine pride. And the outcome seemed all but decided.

‘Is the game already lost?’

The two sent to suppress Legend had only become easy prey, offering up both gold and Experience Points in the process. That event proved one thing—and one thing only:

Whether careless or cautious, Masters were nothing more than prey for Legends. Even in pairs, they were no match.

[TryitTV Wooseung (All): Legend]

[TryitTV Wooseung (All): Legend]

[TryitTV Wooseung (All): What’s your main character?]

[TryitTV Wooseung (All): Where’s your tier?]

As the game tilted heavily against Wooseung’s team, he frantically typed away, attempting to divert the audience’s attention away from the crushing defeat.

It was already clear they couldn’t win. Now, he had to shift focus somehow.

[Starting absurd interviews already lol.]

[Feels like he’s genuinely asking out of frustration though.]

[Host’s inner thoughts: Please say Challenger, please say Challenger.]

[Lmao.]

[Judging by the stats, it’s definitely a secondary Challenger account.]

However, what Wooseung didn’t know was that Teamfight Arena had long patched its system to automatically disable enemy chat unless users enabled the feature in their settings. As a newcomer, Legend hadn’t checked the option. Thus, Wooseung’s desperate attempts at conversation went unanswered.

“Ahhh!”

Instead of a response, Wooseung’s champion was annihilated by a surprise attack.

[Is this guy really dead? Is this guy really dead? Is this guy really dead?]

[Hilarious.]

[Carrying a team of trash and still winning—I mean, how?]

[Who said this is a game of ‘team luck’? Just carry 9:1.]

[Challenger Tier #4 supposedly plays on a rigged account? Yeah right lol.]

[Of course he’s mocking, yet another noob actually taking it seriously. Lmao.]

One of the hottest topics in Teamfight Arena galleries—whether it’s a game of ‘team luck’ or ‘pure skill’—was reignited. But watching Legend dismantle four useless teammates so effortlessly left no room for debate. The Skill-First faction gained yet another piece of undeniable evidence as the five Masters suffered a humiliating defeat.

They deserved it.

Yet there remained one who stubbornly refused to admit defeat…

“Look here, see this? The skill trajectories are these two, right? So logically, a normal person would use Blink to dodge. But here, Legend walks straight through the skills. The Champion collision range is barely this wide, no larger than a hairline. Do you think anyone could actually do that?”

Having turned on his stream to showcase his utter failure, Wooseung had entered the final phase of his desperate struggle: HackerMode.

Opening the replay at 0.2x speed, Wooseung began dissecting Legend’s gameplay, arguing that their performance defied all logic.

“So, tell me… Is this a helper?”

A “helper” in gaming terms referred to external programs designed to grant unfair advantages in Teamfight Arena. Essentially, cheats.

Two specific cheats Wooseung accused Legend of using:

1. Auto-target: Automatically ensures that skills hit their intended target.

2. Auto-dodge: Automatically evades skills.

[Just admit the person’s insanely good.]

[Wooseung is being so petty lol.]

[Does Infinity Games look like chumps? Lol.]

Infinity Games, the developer behind Teamfight Arena, enjoyed a strong reputation, leading many users to trust its anti-cheat systems. Undeterred, Wooseung pleaded further.

“Which company’s games are truly invincible to hacks? It’s all about hacking, patching, rehacking, re-patching. And did you know this guy’s skill hit rate was 100% while their dodge rate was 90%? Skills that aren’t purely target-based never hit them.”

That level of accuracy and evasion was near-perfect. Some argued it was simply too human—not making a single mistake. Over time, some began to see his point.

[Not accepting friend requests? That’s because they’re hackers lmao.]

[Leaving immediately after the game ends too?]

Gradually, Wooseung noticed the tide turning slightly in his favor. What started as a desperate cry to save face had begun to convince even himself.

‘There’s no way someone playing this well isn’t cheating.’

Perhaps it was some psychological experiment by some random psychologist. Either way, would Legend—the new Hacker King—be caught red-handed?

To be continued…
