Chapter 400

Chapter 400. Humanity is Awakening. (1)

To be precise, it was when I was stuck on the brutal difficulty of Round 10, focusing on it for about three days.

During the event period, players couldn’t engage in PVP, and other clans were too busy participating in the event to move.

The Humanity Clan players had only completed up to Round 4, claimed their rewards, and then launched a coup against the Earth Federation.

‘Are they insane?’

Naturally, most players, including me, thought Humanity’s attempt to overthrow the Earth Federation was downright crazy.

Even though Humanity is a large clan, with just over 60,000 players, it was widely considered impossible to take on the Earth Federation, the undisputed top faction.

Of course, it wasn’t like Humanity, as a massive clan, was acting alone.

**Title:** Yo, even Humanity’s sub-clans are uniting.

They’re really going all-in, huh?

**Comments:**

– [Oh]

– [If they do that, they’ll have at least 100,000 players, right? LOL]

– [Humanity alone has over 60,000, so with sub-clans, it’s at least 80,000]

– [Holy ****]

With even their sub-clans uniting (or mobilizing, in slang), players were convinced that Humanity was seriously going all-out.

But that was just the beginning…

**Title:** WTF, why are so many players and clans suddenly claiming to be part of Humanity?

LMAOOOO

WTF, why are people popping up everywhere saying, “I’m part of Humanity too!”

Even clans that were fighting each other are like, “Wait, you too?” and joining in. LOLOLOL

**Comments:**

– [Typical WWE~]

– [You gotta fight and scheme a bit to keep things interesting, LOL]

– [Wait, WTF, why are there so many?]

**Title:** Was everyone part of Humanity except me?

**Author:** Belgrade

What, was I the only one not invited to the party?

**Comments:**

– [You’re part of Humanity too]

– [Wha-wha-what?] (Author)

– [Join Humanity in crushing the Earth Federation]

Players and clans were popping up from everywhere, shouting, “I’m part of Humanity too!” The numbers were beyond imagination, even for players like me.

On top of that, external mercenary players, represented by the Indypatible, started flocking in like crazy.

Just three hours after I started watching the gallery…

**Title:** Humanity’s mobilization is insane.

All those fleets and bases belong to Humanity players.

I did some rough calculations with a supercomputer, and it seems like most players in the Earth Federation are actually on Humanity’s side.

With external mercenaries and clans from other factions openly declaring their allegiance to Humanity, at least 150,000 players have joined the fight.

And that’s the minimum—it could go up to 200,000.

**Comments:**

– [Insane]

– [We were all part of Humanity]

– [Wait, 150,000?]

– [Are you saying all of them are from one clan? WTF?]

– [To be precise, it includes sub-clans and external mercenaries, so the actual Humanity members are 60,000. Yeah.] (Author)

– [Still, that’s a terrifying number]

No joke, the info that at least 150,000 players had gathered was mind-blowing.

Players in the gallery, including me, were left speechless by this insane spectacle.

Of course, some players wondered if Humanity could actually win against the Earth Federation, a massive faction.

**Title:** Rough estimate of the forces mobilized by the United Humanity faction.txt

**Author:** ㅇㅇ

[Various miscellaneous calculations pass by in the background, with a toad image resting its chin on its hand in front.]

Let’s take the minimum estimate.

Currently, the average user has reached Base level 8, so we’ll exclude those below level 7.

And it’s not just user fleets being mobilized, but also mercenary dispatch fleets and faction dispatch ships, so let’s roughly calculate around 1,200 to 1,250 per person.

Rounding off, it’s about 150,000 x 1,250.

Oh, by the way, there are quite a few who have reached Base level 9 now, so should we include them too?

No joke, just the fleet points alone could easily reach around 200 million.

And at this level, even if we only produce battleships, 5 million ships would pop out.

Damn, why is our game’s scale so insane?

I just did a rough calculation, and I’m seriously feeling the existential dread.

Comments:

– [Are those numbers correct?]

– [LOLOLOL]

– [5 million battleships? WTF LOLOLOL]

– [Well, in reality, we wouldn’t just produce battleships. If we consider carriers and other stuff, the difference would be huge. (Author)]

– [I mean, just the fact that fleet points are at 200 million is enough to make me lose my mind.]

The sheer scale of the military power that popped up made users question their own eyes.

Under normal circumstances, trolling or slander would have erupted, but the overwhelmingly massive scale left no room for such antics.

Of course, other major clans weren’t just sitting back and watching Humanity’s storm-like advance and frenzy.

While such gallery posts were being made…

<<<The 'Last Resistance' event has ended!>>>

<Rewards for clearing rounds in this event have been immediately distributed to each Commander. Please check your mailbox!>

<If not claimed within 2 weeks, the rewards will be deleted, so check quickly!>

The event, managed by the operators, ended as scheduled.

This was because clans like Justice and Loki Clan had moved to restrain Humanity’s actions.

However, Justice, for example, couldn’t launch any additional offensives beyond attacking a few small clans revealed to be part of Humanity.

“Why aren’t we attacking their clan!”

“We went too hard on the event.”

“Ah.”

Having exhausted much of their strength in the event, which was quite challenging, they couldn’t go on the offensive even if they wanted to.

As for Loki Clan…

<Loki Clan Official Chatbaaaang>

<Notice: Look, you bastards, I was right.>

– [LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL]

– [Damn, it’s actually happening.]

– [If you sold at Round 5, you’re a classy owner. Thumbs up.]

– [How do you thumbs up in chat? WTF.]

– [Anyway, our Clan Leader said so, let’s go!]

Thanks to their Clan Leader, Betelgeuse, who suspiciously prevented clan members from recklessly pushing through the event, they had some reserves left.

So, they tried to hit Humanity Clan, which was trying to devour an entire faction, from behind.

They also planned internal sabotage using their own spies, employing every means possible to counter Humanity.

The problem was, Humanity wasn’t entirely unaware of Loki Clan’s moves.

<Notice: Look, you bastards, I was right.>

– [Ah, damn.]

– [Why are those Biomass bastards pushing towards us?]

– [What the hell.]

– [Clan Leader-nim.]

– [Damn, we have no choice. Let’s block those bastards first. Go!] (Betelgeuse)

Surprisingly, they used the Biomass Clan, which had no connection to them and was located on the opposite side, to preemptively attack Loki Clan, effectively having them do the restraining for them.
