Episode 377. Ship Storage Service ‘Beehive’. (2)
And thanks to a post by ‘someone’ that ended up on the gallery forum, the service became a huge success in a way I didn’t expect.
– “Commander, the internal space of the ‘Beehive’ is now completely full.”
– “…It actually worked.”
In just 2-3 hours, the interior of the Beehive I created was completely emptied out—a truly bizarre sight.
And even though the space was full, from the outside, there was no way to tell how packed it was inside.
– *Poof! Bang!*
– “Commander, more ships keep arriving.”
– “…If this keeps up, it’s going to be a total mess.”
Users kept popping up, bringing their unclaimed ships in packaged states. The chat was flooded with all kinds of inquiries, so I had to pause responding for a moment.
I hurriedly wrote in both the chat and the gallery that there was no more space left, practically crying about it.

<Notice: For mercenary-related matters, go here -
– [Everyone, Tanhoizer’s ship storage can no longer accept new arrivals.] (Icarus)
– [<A picture of the completely full 'Beehive' with no empty spaces.jpg>] (Icarus)
– [For real, though.] (Icarus)
– [Wow, it’s packed to the brim.]
– [Looks like business is booming, congrats!]
– [You’re turning more and more into a boss like Ssajang-nim.]
– [LOLOLOLOL]
– [Wow, it filled up fast.]

The chatroom was mostly filled with users who were naturally friendly toward me, so the reactions were somewhat positive. But the gallery… that was another story.

Title: Stop Coming

No more room.
Seriously.
If more come, it’ll explode and we’ll all die.
Comments:
– [So, the wristband has become a battlefield?]
– [Oh, looks fun.]
– [Hey, you.]
– [LOL, no way, 500 ‘unclaimed ships’ incoming.]
– [Just claim your ships already!!!]
– [Business is really booming.]

As always, there were reactions from lunatics—whether it was their weird desires or just trolling—and all sorts of ridiculousness. It was truly baffling.
==========
If there was one silver lining, it was that because so many people crowded in, they ended up fighting over spots. Some even started brawling, claiming unclaimed ships and blowing them up in the process. Others, unable to enter the storage, tried to steal ships waiting outside, only to be effortlessly destroyed by the Guard Fleet.
All these clown fiestas were, thankfully, limited to the very early stages. Why? Well…

Title: Today’s News) Ship Storage Business Trending
Author: News Boy
Content: [A picture of the ship storage ‘Beehive’ built at a Humanity Clan base, much larger than the one in Tanhoizer.jpg]
A few days ago, Icarus, ranked 3rd, showcased the ship storage business on the gallery. Seeing how well it was doing, users and clans with bases started jumping into the business too.
However, some are pointing out that this business exploits a loophole in the system, and if things go wrong, it could lead to a very dangerous situation.
Comments:
– [Hmm, interesting.]
– [Our clan was talking about trying this too.]
– [Oh, you guys too?]
– [What an intriguing story.]
– [Typical Hell Peninsula folks, jumping on the bandwagon as soon as something gets popular tsk tsk.]
– [You’re doing it too, though.]
– [You know, when I do it, it’s ‘innovation,’ but when others do it, it’s ‘copying,’ right?]
– [Exactly that.]

Soon.
Comments:
– [This meme is pretty old, huh?]
– [Isn’t it almost 10 years ago by our standards?]
– [Yeah.]
– [What does it matter? Everything that came out since then has been a mess, nothing really stood out.]
– [Take it back… what you just said…!]
– [Take~ it~ back~]

As time goes on, a certain high-nickname’s posts are becoming more like regular news articles.
As you can see from another post I happened to come across…
The ship storage project I pushed for was doing way better than expected.
Although during the process, some users kept coming at me, saying, “Isn’t this infringing on your intellectual property rights? Shouldn’t we take those guys down?”
“Commander, shouldn’t we punish those who are stealing your ideas like that?”
“Huh?”
“I think so too, Oppa.”
“Hmm.”
“How dare they take what’s yours, Oppa? I feel like mobilizing the entire alliance forces right now.”
“Wow.”
Jessica, of course, and even Marian, who heard about the situation, were visibly angry.
But to calm their anger, I calmly explained why it wasn’t necessary.
“But I was the one who spread those ideas.”
“…What?”
“Huh?”
“See, the business was doing better than expected, and there were so many users that it was chaotic, right?”
“Yeah, that’s right…?”
“But managing it was too much of a hassle.”
“Right?”
“Look at this, the glow-in-the-dark gallery post.”
With that, I decided to show Jessica the explanation post (?) I had just written.

Title: Explanation (?) Post Because There’s So Much Controversy.txt
Author: Icarus
Content: [Screenshot of me spreading the ‘Beehive’ blueprint in chat.jpg], [But using the Beehive blueprint to farm resources or currency is strictly prohibited.jpg]
There’s a lot of concern, but…
I was the one who spread it in the first place.
Why?
I thought only a few dozen users in the neutral zone would use it.
I never expected thousands of users from the Central Zone, let alone users from other zones, to come here and do it.
Honestly, you guys came in way too many numbers, and it became unmanageable.
So, from now on, stop asking me about that damn storage facility.
[Screenshot of me posting images of grandpas, grandmas, and all sorts of gore in the chat.jpg]
And I’ve banned the guys who sent this for 15 days in all communities, so behave.
Comments:
– [The last part is seriously creepy.]
– [Oh, so you were planning to spread it all along?]
– [But this makes sense. If you try to claim ownership after using tricks, it could get dangerous.]
– [What do you mean?]
– [If the admins later decide this is nonsense and force a shutdown, the one who claimed ownership would take all the blame, right?]
– [Oh.]
– [Thanks.]
– [I asked for inquiries, and they sent the trolls instead;;]

While Jessica was reading that explanation post (?), I tried to calm down Marian, who was still fuming despite hearing my explanation, by pulling her close and squishing her cheeks.
“Hueeeet?!”
“Squish squish.”
“O-oppa, what are you doing?”
“Project Calm Down with Trust and Reassurance.”
Of course, my sudden action must have been shocking, as Marian tilted her head back.
While I squished her cheeks, her expression was a perfect mix of 10% confusion, 10% bewilderment, 20% chaos, and 100% happiness.
A total of 140% perfect harmony.
But that didn’t last long. As I not only squished her cheeks but also patted her head and massaged her shoulders, her anger quickly melted away, and she turned into a soft, squishy Marian.
