Chapter 371

Chapter 371. It’s a Fun Time for Reset Marathons. (4)

But that fun time didn’t last long.

To recover from my shattered mental state and since I had finished today’s tasks, I decided to go straight to sleep.

The next morning, feeling refreshed, I woke up and went crazy spinning the gacha over and over again. As a result, after finally completing my 998th 10-pull—to be exact, after 9,980 gacha attempts—I managed to get a sweet, sweet SSS-grade.

Though this time, it wasn’t a superhuman but a ship.

“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!”

“That’s amazing!”

“Oh, are those the new ships you just bought, Oppa?”

“An electronic warfare cruiser, a destroyer, and a battleship… Not bad at all.”

Just like last time with Hreðsvelgr, the ships were delivered in front of the base, encased in an ugly potato-like protective shell.

To share this joyous moment, I decided to take a screenshot and post it in the gallery.

Of course, before that, I wanted to figure out what these new ships were all about.

The good thing was, I already knew what the ‘Bayern-Class’ and ‘Kashima-Class’ ships were.

“Hmm… Wait, I remember what the Bayern-Class and Kashima-Class ships do.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, both of them appeared during the early days of the game.”

The Bayern-Class was a ship with a hexagonal performance, and the Kashima-Class was a destroyer specialized solely in anti-air.

Of course, if they were high-tier ships like SSS-grade, they wouldn’t just be ships—they’d have something extra, like Hreðsvelgr or Ouroboros.

But the Bayern-Class, being a ‘battleship’ that doesn’t exist below S-grade, only received an S-grade because it was slightly stronger than regular ships.

The Kashima-Class was similar, and due to its A-grade limitation…

At this point in the game, unless you were running a small fleet concept, its performance was pretty mediocre.

In fact, the Kashima-Class was just a remodeled old ship, so it had been treated as something average since the game’s launch.

I was planning to sell the two ships, except for the unfamiliar cruiser named Habarovsk, at the auction house.

But as soon as I brought up this idea…

“So, what are you going to do with those two ships?”

“Since I used up a lot of gold for the Tanhoizer strategy, I was thinking of selling them to replenish my gold.”

“Commander, the Bayern-Class has decent performance. Why not integrate it into the fleet?”

“Hmm…”

“I agree with Belial. Even without special features, it’s better than regular battleships, right, Oppa?”

“Hmm.”

Not only Belial, the fleet manager, but even Marian suggested keeping the Bayern-Class.

Thinking about it, I realized that the current ‘main ships’ in my fleet weren’t great at tanking…

“Commander, honestly, without the Bayern-Class, we don’t have any ships to block enemy fire in our fleet.”

“Even though the Dreadnought is under construction, wouldn’t it be better to have one more ship?”

“Hmm… That makes sense.”

Convinced by their reasoning, I nodded and decided to keep the Bayern-Class in our fleet.

As for the Kashima-Class, I neatly repackaged it and docked it somewhere in the base, ready to be sold anytime.

‘Those long antennas…’

As the packaging was removed, the Habarovsk-Class, which looked like a fusion of a Sputnik satellite and a grasshopper stretched out, caught my attention.

I opened the wiki tab to learn more about it.

Title: SSS-Grade Habarovsk-Class Electronic Warfare Cruiser Specifications.txt

The setting of the urgent electronic warfare cruiser.jpg]

Nickname: Grasshopper

The reason is that the hull looks like a grasshopper, but to me, it doesn’t look like one at all. Still, since it’s commonly accepted, let’s just go with it.

Cutting through the chatter, to put its performance simply, it’s focused on the functions you’d expect from an “electronic warfare cruiser.”

If you deploy it in your fleet, it can detect stealth ships and cloaked ships around you.

It also drastically reduces the accuracy of guided missiles fired from aircraft or ships.

And if you really go all out with electronic warfare against enemy aircraft, whether they’re organic, mechanical, or whatever, they’ll all end up like burnt rice crust. Yep.

But its own armament is seriously lacking.

For its size, it’s among the top-tier heavy cruisers, but its armament is just one heavy particle accelerator cannon for destroyers and two 16-cell VLS systems. Seriously?

Its speed isn’t particularly fast either, so if you deploy it in a mobility-focused fleet just because it’s a “cruiser,” you’re in for a real treat.

Comments:

– [Oh, I forgot to mention, unlike other electronic warfare cruisers, this one can use all the functions mentioned above simultaneously.] (Author)

– [Wow]

– [Is being able to use functions simultaneously that amazing?]

– [Yep, S-class and below electronic warfare cruisers can only use one function at a time.] (Author)

“This is exactly what our fleet needs right now.”

Lately, aside from events, I haven’t had any direct PVP with users, so it’s been somewhat overlooked…

Given the current structure of my fleet, if it’s just a straightforward power struggle, that’s one thing.

But if the opponent uses stealth ships or cloaked ships similar to the Nerañzara…

The only way to detect those ships is through reconnaissance aircraft, which means we’d just get beaten up.

But now, with the Habarovsk, that risk is gone…

“Man, this is sweet.”

After 9,980 pulls, I feel like I’ve finally gotten something pretty good.

Meanwhile, while our Icarus was busy patting himself on the back…

Who am I?

The man with the best luck, pulling SSS, S, and A grades all at once.

Now only those who’ve pulled less than me can brag. Good luck.

Comments:

– [Damn]

– [It’s impressive to stick through 9,980 pulls, that’s some serious dedication]

– [You’ve been rerolling all day, you crazy bastard]

– [LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL]

– [Human victory, thumbs up]

– [Hmm, judging by the name length and the mosaic, at least one is anti-air xxx]

– [How the hell do you even figure that out, dude]

Title: You Damn Show-off

Damn.

Isn’t this just telling us not to brag?

Comments:

– [This is why they told us not to brag, LOLOLOLOLOLOL]

– [You damn show-offs, shut up!]

– [It was all part of the grand plan, LOLOLOLOLOLOL]

– [“Only those worse than me can brag” (After 9,980 pulls, finally got an SSS)]

– [Can anyone even top this?]

Seeing Icarus’s brag post with the bold “9,980 pulls” proof, users realized it was essentially a warning not to brag, and they shed tears of sorrow.
