Chapter 354. The King of the Center~ (4)
Of course, such “pure compliments” weren’t earned for free.

**Title:** Why is Icarus suddenly getting so much praise?

Seriously, there was a vibe of either bashing or just being indifferent, but suddenly, it flipped. Why is that?

After some negotiations (?) like this, it was a sweet fruit that could only be obtained.
Anyway, the important thing isn’t that a few users almost got themselves blocked for 15 days straight…
It’s that I finally managed to conquer that darn Tanhoizer Gate Fortress.
Right after verifying Tanhoizer’s capture, I checked its status window to decide whether to dock there or not.
And when I opened the status window, here’s what I saw…

“Hmmmm, hmmmmmm.”
“Tanhoizer has a lot of unique features.”
As Jessica said, unlike Avalon or Barracuda, Tanhoizer seems to have a “gate base” characteristic.
Looking at the “docking effects” list, it was filled with things that made you tilt your head, unlike Barracuda, which was more straightforward.
Of course, neither Jessica nor I are idiots, and I still have some memories from my past life (?) gaming experiences…
So, after digging through my fading memories and using the gallery wiki tab for info, I figured it out.
“Wait a sec, docking with Tanhoizer seems to buff teleport-related functions primarily.”
“That seems to be the case.”
Tanhoizer’s buffs truly live up to its name.
And realizing that, I thought, “Well, I won’t be getting any new bases for a while anyway.”
“At this point, I might as well move my base to Tanhoizer.”
“I agree. Tanhoizer has a higher resource gain rate too.”
So, I decided to leave the Avalon Fortress, which I’d grown attached to, and dock my base at the newly conquered Tanhoizer.

**<Base Warp Out, New Docking Complete!>**
**<Content>**
**<Commander's Astral Base has warped out and docked at the Tanhoizer Gate Fortress!>**
**<Effects>**
**<Base Defense Power has been enhanced with the fortress's defense power.>**
Power is included!>
<The daily resource acquisition of the base increases!>
<You have acquired the fortress’s shipyard and resource warehouse!>
<You can modify some of the internal structures of the fortress!>
<Docking effects will apply to the Commander’s base and owned outposts!>
˪<Note that this only applies to outposts that are 2 levels lower than the currently docked outpost.>
—————————————–
‘Gimoriiiiing.’
Unlike the Avalon Fortress, which was a completely new structure—no, more like a space-castle.
Docking into the central part of the Tanhoizer Fortress, which floats around a giant ring with metaphysical structures.
As that refreshing event message popped up, I could also understand exactly what some of the buffs from docking were.
—————————————-
<Explanation related to the ‘Tanhoizer Gate Fortress’!>
<Improvement in outpost and gate teleportation performance!>
<As long as you are docked at the ‘Tanhoizer Gate Fortress,’ the performance of the ‘Fleet Long-Distance Teleportation System’ for your Astral Base and outposts ‘level 5 or below’ will be enhanced.>
˪<Number of fleets that can be teleported at once: 1 ⇒ 5>
˪<Number of fleets that can use the outpost gate: 10 ⇒ 20>
<Additional teleportation explanations!>
˪<Aircraft teleportation and warp are only possible within the domain of the ‘Tanhoizer Gate Fortress.’>
˪<The range of aircraft teleportation cannot exceed the radar detection range of the outpost.>
˪<Also, aircraft teleportation is only one-way, and return is not provided.>
—————————————-
“In summary, it’s like expanding the Kraken’s teleportation capabilities, right?”
“That’s how I see it too.”
The effect was such that the outpost itself could be considered a giant Kraken, so I felt a strong sense of satisfaction.
And besides, there were plenty of other good things too.
“Jessica, give me a report on our current resource status, and also let me know again what the maximum resource capacity is.”
“Yes, Commander. Currently, we have 1.5 million minerals and 240,000 rare resources, with a maximum capacity of 30.5 million.”
“That’s the total, right?”
“Yes, including both minerals and rare resources.”
Considering how hard it is to gather, the increase is small.
But I decided to be satisfied with the fact that it increased at all.
However, the world isn’t all good news.
“On the other hand, the resource acquisition rate is almost the same, and we lost one shipyard.”
“Is that so.”
I didn’t really expect much from the resource acquisition rate anyway, so it didn’t matter.
But losing one shipyard made me feel a bit annoyed.
Though that feeling was short-lived.

Losing one general shipyard dock gave me a strangely empty feeling.
But as I said before, honestly, I’m not planning to launch any major invasions anytime soon,
and since most of my fleet didn’t suffer much damage in this battle, I don’t really need to use the shipyard right now.
So I decided to brush off that issue with a nod.
And just enjoy the current satisfaction to the fullest.
