Episode 297. Preparing for the Tanhoizer Assault (2)
“My heart is pounding.”
“Honestly, mine too.”
Who would have thought that just as I was struggling with the headache-inducing problem of the Tanhoizer assault, the monsters would send me a gift at such a perfect timing?
‘Damn! Such a precious reward for me!!’
Of course, it wouldn’t be too late to get excited after checking the condition of the delivered product…

<Resource Comprehensive Supply Biological Container>
<A living, super-large cargo transport container used by 'Space Monsters' to transport large quantities of resources.>
<Despite its appearance, if anyone other than other Space Monsters or authorized personnel touches it, it will immediately try to devour them and turn them into its 'cargo.'>
<Internal Cargo List>
<Minerals 1,000,000>
<Rare Resources 200,000>
<Gold 10,000>

‘Kyaaa, Madam! No, the deep grace of Queen Nymu, like the Queen Alien, makes me choke on her hot love.’
Unlike gacha that just rips off resource boxes and shows perfect failure.
Seeing the contents of the container, which can give at least 10 times, up to 20 times more resources than opening all the resource boxes obtained from that.
I found the bizarre biological container, which looked like a fusion of a furry uncircumcised kkechurang and a water bear, incredibly adorable.
And aside from that, the sturdy ‘mobile shell.’
Seeing the so-called space shell pulsating and throbbing, I felt a strangely complex emotion.
“Commander, I didn’t think I’d see that again in less than a year.”
“I think so too, Jessica.”
“If we’re lucky, you might end up with two Krakens!”
“…Even so, that’s a bit much.”
While Jessica was getting all excited, I immediately shot her down and shook my head vigorously.
“Even so, the one in a million chance won’t happen again.”
“Then it’s too sad that you just failed 100 times at fixing the dimensional causality rate.”
“….”
Suddenly getting hit with a free deal in the solar plexus made my heart ache.
But I wasn’t wrong, was I?
Of course, deep down, I really hoped for a Kraken or something.
Or maybe some other ships like an assault ship or something would be great…
But realistically, there’s no way those would come out, so I was just satisfied with getting two cruisers for ‘free.’
However, while I was thinking this, Jessica suddenly realized something new and spoke up.
“Ah, wait a minute.”
“Is there a problem?”
“Commander, didn’t you recently start building a cruiser battleship and a large aircraft carrier, so you don’t have enough fleet points?”
“Hmm… that’s right.”
“Then no matter what comes out of there, you won’t be able to use the ships, right?”
“Ah, so that’s what you were wondering about.”
It was a perfectly reasonable question, so I nodded and calmly explained that it wasn’t a big issue.
“It’s fine, it’s fine.”
“Huh?”
“You know, we still have three combat destroyers left, right?”
“Yeah, but why?”
“Let’s dismantle one of them at the shipyard today while completing the daily quest.”
“Got it, but what’s the point of that?”
Seeing Jessica nod but still look puzzled, I decided to show her instead of explaining with my mouth getting tired.
“Behold, the almighty Wiki Tab!”
“….???”
As always, I opened the community-gallery-wiki tab in order to show her the relevant information.
Of course, as soon as I opened the community, I had to deal with disgusting image spam, report posts, and a flood of slanderous posts about the ongoing Xenobia Empire version of the North-South War.
…Anyway, after dealing with all that, I was finally able to show Jessica what I wanted to show her.
And what was it?

Title: Q. I’m getting a new ship but I don’t have enough fleet points, what do I do?
Author: Wiki Officer mk-43
A. It depends on what it is.
For example, if you’re building a ship at the ‘Shipyard’ and run out of Fleet Points, the ship will just stop at 99% completion and won’t finish.
Unless you cancel that ship, no matter what you do, it won’t come out of that Shipyard dock, even if you die trying.
But if you’re not getting the ship from the Shipyard, and instead get it from a gacha or another faction?
Then the story changes, because in that case, you can receive the ship even if it exceeds your Fleet Points.
However, you must have at least 2 Fleet Points free.
So, 99/100 won’t work.
It has to be 97/100 to receive a ship that exceeds your Fleet Points limit, got it?
And here’s the important part: if you receive a ship that way and it exceeds the limit?
After that, you can’t receive any more ships that exceed the limit, got it?
Oh, and by the way, if you receive multiple ships ‘simultaneously,’ the system treats it as one instance, I think.

Comments:
– [Oh]
– [So, you’re saying if I have 997/1000, I can receive a 1000-point ship?]
– [Theoretically, yes, assuming such a ship exists, of course.] (Author)
– [But why does it have to be at least 2 points free? Wouldn’t 1 point free be enough?]
– [Because people were abusing the system by pre-building a Patrol Ship, then dismantling it to switch to a Dreadnought when the points aligned.] (Author)
– [Ah, that makes sense lol]
– [This info is super helpful!]
– [Are the ships you get from factions different from the ones sent by faction dispatch teams?]
– [Yeah, those are separate. There are ships you get from events or gacha-like rewards.] (Author)
– [Like the comment above said, there are separate rewards from events or trust levels, so keep raising your trust level.] (Author)

“Ta-da.”
“Ah… so that’s how it works.”
—
Whether it’s a system loophole or some kind of consideration for the players, I’m not sure.
But according to the game’s system, if you have at least 2 Fleet Points free, you can exceed the limit once to receive a ship.
—
“That’s why I just gratefully accept what Princess Luka gives me.”
“I see…”
—
Jessica, realizing the source of my confidence, nodded her head with her big bunny ears flapping excitedly, probably because she learned something new.
—
Anyway, after that conversation.
Since it seemed like it would take some time for the Behemoth-class Space Pupa to fully mature.
My base, fleet, and I decided to take it easy, focusing on gathering resources.
And occasionally, we’d level up by hunting the respawning mobs.
By the way, the small Space Pupa—well, the bio-container—was temporarily docked inside the fortress.
After all, if we opened it, we’d probably use it later to cover the hiring costs when conquering the ‘Tanhoizer Gate Fortress.’
Since there’s no immediate need for a large amount of resources right now, I didn’t feel the need to open it yet.
Of course, since it’s a living creature, maybe that’s why.
—
“Icarus, are you planning to just leave the bio-container alone?”
“Is there a problem?”
“Will it start eating the surrounding ships or something?”
“No, not that, but if you leave it alone, it might digest the ‘cargo’ inside.”
“Ah.”
—
Thanks to Oxianor’s warning that leaving it alone could cause it to consume the resources stored as ‘cargo,’
We decided to throw captured Pirate Ships or wild monsters as food once a day.
—
-“Kieeeek!”
—
“Uh, um… since that thing is already there, maybe you could just leave our Pirate Ship alone…”
“Ah, so you’re saying you’ll let that thing eat you instead of the ship?”
“Thinking about it, it seems like a necessary method for the Space Pupa’s iron intake.”
—
Of course, during this process, we didn’t bother asking for the opinions of the wild monsters chosen as food or the pirates whose ships were being eaten.
