Chapter 175. That post will become a holy site.
Of course, when Icarus first posted the proof shot and the proof post, the reaction wasn’t that explosive.

**Title:** Won 5 vs 1
**Author:** Icarus
**Content:** [Surrender treaty proof image], [Wreckage of destroyed ships visible from the command center]
Thought I was gonna die.
This is tough.
**Comments:**
– [What the hell is this?]
– [How did you do it?]
– [No, seriously, how did you pull that off?]
– [5:1 is just rank flexing lololol]
– [Insane.]
—
It was just a typical “Wow, amazing.” kind of reaction, nothing extraordinary.
But just a few minutes later.
—
**Title:** Yo, I got a gif of the rank 3 battle lololol

**Content:** [Video of the brutal fight between Unity Clan and Icarus.avi]
Just watch it.
I think it’s insane.
**Comments:**
Locked.
—
An anonymous user suddenly uploaded a “moderately” edited video of the battle between Icarus and Unity Clan.
Of course, unlike Icarus’s own post, which only had proof shots and results without any battle scenes…
From the initial invasion by the 5-member clan to the final appearance of the Pirate Fleet raining down indiscriminate bombardment.
When a video appeared, cutting out all the boring parts and compiling only the battle scenes, the users in the gallery were utterly shocked.
—
**Title:** Wait, is this game realistically capable of 1 vs 5?
**Author:** Chupacabra
**Content:** [Battle gif from the video]
How the hell do you do that?
Even looking at the number of ships in the video, Icarus started with fewer ships lolol.
**Comments:**
– [Seriously, how did you do it?]
– [I’m speechless, what’s up with that aircraft control?]
– [Kraken is freaking OP.]
—
**Title:** Highlights of the rank 3’s insane maneuvers in this video
**Author:** ㅇㅇ
**Content:** [Image of Kraken charging at a Light Aircraft Carrier]
As soon as the main fleet, which included 7 Cruiser Battleships and around 400 ships, got tied down,
they pretended to retreat and then sneak-attacked the Light Aircraft Carrier user lolol.
Even though their own fleet got wrecked in the artillery battle, they didn’t hesitate for a second and just rammed into the Light Aircraft Carrier, securing the future battle victory.
**Comments:**
– [Hmm, that’s something.]
– [Yeah.]
– [Insane, the clan attacked the main fleet and got pushed back by the Cruiser Battleships, losing a third of their fleet in an instant.] (Author)
– [If you time the moment they rammed the Light Aircraft Carrier, they didn’t hesitate at all, took the damage, and achieved the best result.] (Author)
– [Oh.]
—
**Title:** Yo, what the hell is that Pirate Fleet at the end of the video?
**Author:** ㅇㅇ
**Content:** [Gif of the Pirate Fleet teleporting and unleashing a barrage]
I roughly counted, and it looks like there are at least 4,000 ships.
Is that seriously the result of dumping all their resources into the Mercenary Office right after it got normalized?
**Comments:**
– [Straight-up Mercenary Office normalization speedrun.]
– [Clan member purge, five letters, cheers.]
– [But seriously, it’s probably not that.]
– [Huh?] (Author)
– [A mercenary group has less than 20 ships per fleet.]
– [And hiring just 10 mercenary groups without Cruisers would cost over 10,000 minerals in one go.]
– [But if it’s over 4,000 ships, you’d need to hire at least 200 mercenary groups, and at most, over 500.]
– [In the video, you can see Cruisers and even Cruiser Battleships in the Pirate Fleet.]
– [If those are included, the required number goes up even more.]
– [Unless you can pay over 600,000 minerals in one go, it’s impossible.]
—
**Title:** Everyone’s talking about the fleet battle, but if you look closely, the Superhuman pool is also insane, as expected from a ranker.
**Author:** Vitamin
**Content:** [Gif of the Superhumans struggling in the background of the video]
Even when they were ambushing the Light Aircraft Carrier fleet, they were stealing ships like crazy.
During the base siege, they straight up captured five ships in a row and accidentally created a small fleet right in the middle of the enemy’s territory.
And when you look at the late-game defense, even though they were outnumbered 5 to 1 and getting pushed back by sheer numbers…
Put it this way: five superhuman users were all charging in, and even though they broke through a different route to pour on the offense…
They still managed to hold out, which just shows how insane the superhuman pool is.
In the Central Zone, which is practically a hellhole, they’re pretty much the top dogs.
—
**Comments:**
– [Wait, no way. I even saw one of their clan members post a screenshot before, and there was definitely an SSS-Class Superhuman in it, for real.]
– [So that guy wasn’t just holding out because of a high rank, but he actually survived being ganged up on by at least five SSS-Class superhumans?]
– [OP’s right. There might even be more than what was shown in the video.] (Author)
—
**Title:** I’ve compiled a list of the superhumans from the Icarus video.
**Author:** ㅇㅇ
**Content:** [GIF of missile-torpedo teleportation airstrike]
First off, a lot of superhumans appeared in the video, but I’ll only mention the ones I’m sure are from Icarus’ side.
[GIF of Ignis acrobatically jumping between ships, slashing a fighter jet in half with a saber.]
1. Ignis, SS-Class.
[Screenshot of a muscular nun smashing into a ship with a chain axe.]
2. Partia, SSS-Class.
[Capture of a nun laughing as she sinks a cruiser battleship with a massive particle beam.]
3. Pashtira, SSS-Class.
[Photo of Gryanarr, transformed into a giant monster, crushing the deck of a destroyer while infiltrating, but only the back is visible.]
4. No idea what this is, but probably a monster-type superhuman, at least S-Class.
[Photo of Belial commanding a doll army, looking down at the battlefield.]
5. Belial, SSS-Class.
[Blurry photo of Oxianor during the base defense, only the body is visible.]
6. Likely a monster or Xenobia-type hero, estimated to be at least S-Class.
And during the base defense, it seems like the clan users deployed at least five SSS-Class and around 15-20 S-Class or higher superhumans.
So, aside from the six I mentioned, there were probably even more inside the base.
—
**Comments:**
– [What the hell, how are there so many SSS-Class?]
– [I felt bad for OP because their ship gacha luck was so bad, but now it seems like they’re doing fine.]
– [Seems like they got some serious character luck to make up for the ships.]
– [Isn’t that kind of character luck way too OP?]
– [That guy’s a returning player, so every time he upgrades his base, he gets one of the heroes that were hibernating there.] (Author)
– [Also, returning players get a guaranteed S-Class or higher character as a comeback reward, so a lot of people start with one.]
– [Oh, for real?]
– [So, is this like level 6 or something? Do they get one every time they level up?]
– [Nah, after level 5, you unlock one every 5 base levels, lol.] (Author)
– [That’s kinda weird.]
—
Reactions like these exploded, but overall, it was mostly just a flood of “Icarus praise posts.”
If Icarus themselves had been lurking in the gallery, they probably would’ve been overwhelmed and started sweating bullets.
But luckily (or unluckily), they had turned off the gallery and were focusing on their own stuff, so they didn’t react at all.
Thanks to that, the gallery’s discussions shifted to analyzing the battles between Icarus and their clan.
And for some reason, during all this…
—
**Comments:**
– [I barely survived a 2 vs 1 against some trash players this time, please let me survive a 3 vs 1 next time.]
– [Is this a holy site?]
– [I pray, I pray, grant me the power to crush those who come at me 3 vs 1 without taking any damage.]
– [A ranker is here praying, lol.]
– [I came to make a pilgrimage to this holy site^^ Please let me win against multiple enemies too~]
– [This place is holy ground!]
—
Suddenly, Icarus’ verification post in the gallery became a kind of holy site, where countless solo players came to pray for the power to win against overwhelming odds.
