Chapter 95. We Need More Friends (1)
If there’s a problem, it’s immediately obvious from that insane price.
To buy a 10x gacha roll, the event reward points required a whopping 450,000 points.
‘Inflation, huh?’
Of course, if you think about it, since we’re raking in almost 100,000 points a day like this, it might not be that big of a problem.
The real issue is whether it’s worth giving up on pulling a guaranteed ‘decent’ S-rank or higher ship.
Is it really worth spending 450,000 points on those with no guarantee of value or probability?
I tried clicking on the product to see what the probabilities were, but…

<The probabilities for this product are not disclosed.>

‘What the hell is this?’
It seems like probability regulation laws are completely useless in this world.
They boldly refuse to disclose the probabilities, and I couldn’t help but feel dumbfounded…
‘Ugh, help me, Gallerymon.’
Since the gallery exists for this very reason, I immediately opened it and searched for info about this event gacha.
But when I clicked on the search results that popped up…

Title: Info on Gacha Probabilities.txt

Yeah, I removed the probabilities!
Mad, aren’t you? Too bad!
No one can judge me, the admin!
That’s the limit of this world’s justice system!

-[Can’t deny how trash this is]
-[Who the hell came up with not disclosing probabilities?]

‘What a piece of trash.’
From the very start, I was faced with an aggro post, and I could feel my mental state shaking.
But somehow, I managed to hold onto my sanity, stopped myself from smashing the command console I was using as a keyboard, and decided to look for a more proper tip post.
I diligently scoured the gallery, and thankfully, it didn’t take long for me to find a decent tip post.

Title: For Those Considering Buying Gacha Tickets from the Event Shop

If you’re thinking of doing a 10x roll now, it’ll cost you 450,000 points, so honestly, is it even worth it?
But personally, I think doing a 10x roll is totally worth it.
Let’s be real, if you’re determined to save up 400,000 to 500,000 points, it’s doable in about a week to 12 days, right?
But the important thing isn’t that—it’s the hidden feature of this gacha ticket.
Before I got possessed by this, someone spent hundreds of rolls through cash purchases and shared the info.
Turns out, the gacha tickets from this event shop have a slight probability boost.
So compared to the gacha currency we’ve been using here, the rates are surprisingly better.
That’s why I think doing a 10x roll and sweetly adding another superhuman to your roster isn’t a bad idea.
Comments:
-[Nice tip, upvoted]
-[But how much better are the rates?]
-[From what I remember, it’s about 5% higher.]
-[Oh, that’s insane]
-[Better than I thought]
-[So 5% higher means it’s better than the base gacha?]
-[Obviously, right?]
-[Oh, good]

‘Hmmmm… interesting…’
Through this surprisingly well-written tip post, I realized that the event gacha might actually be better than I thought.
But as mentioned in the post, even with our awesome pirates’ automation system (?) for auto-questing, clearing quests still takes time.
And aside from that, at this point, I…
I realized something new.
“Wait a minute, Marian called in dozens of pirate captains, so why is the reward point acquisition rate similar to that of top-tier users?”
It’s just that I’m not affiliated with them.
In reality, I’m practically handling superhumans equivalent to at least 4-5 users all by myself.
So, shouldn’t the point acquisition rate be at that level?
But according to the tips written by that veteran user, it seems like top-tier users can easily earn tens of thousands of event reward points per day.
With that doubt in mind, I closed the gallery for a moment.
Then, I shouted at the monster, “I am the lover of Commander Eui!” and called Marian, who was grinning from ear to ear, to ask her about the issue.
After hearing my question, Marian thought for a moment, then leaned her head on my shoulder and answered with a smile.
“It’s simple, oppa.”
“What is it?”
“The captains are scattered all over, trying to solve those quests, so they end up clashing with fleets from other factions around us.”
“…Ah, I see.”
Marian’s explanation wasn’t anything special.
It’s just that pirates are spreading out everywhere, and while clearing quests, they end up clashing not only with monsters but also with the Xenobia Empire, Earth Federation fleets, and even the users affiliated with them.
Of course, it’s not wise to judge based solely on Marian’s story, so after thanking her and sending her off, I immediately opened the gallery and started searching for reactions about pirates.

**Title:** Lately, I keep running into pirates.

But these guys are kinda ambiguous as aggressive mobs.
For some reason, they seem to be searching for something, and their behavior patterns are weird.
Did the devs add something new? What about everyone else?

**Comments:**
– [I’ve encountered those guys too. Damn, S-class captains suddenly popped up, and I almost died.]
– [Yeah, lately, pirates have been showing up a lot in the border areas of factions.]
– [But besides the Pirate Alliance, there are also genuine pirates popping up naturally, making it even more chaotic lol.]
– [I think the devs might be testing things out before a new event.]
– [I heard monsters, Xenobia, and Earth Federation fleets are also showing up frequently.]
– [Oh, now that you mention it, that makes sense.]

“Hmm.”
“What’s wrong, Commander?”
After realizing through the gallery users’ reactions that there’s a critical flaw in the “pirate-style automated quest acquisition system,” I let out a sigh.
Jessica, who had just finished some tasks and completed a resource transfer quest for the Monster Force, looked at me with a puzzled expression and asked.
I explained the “truth” I had just realized and showed her the gallery post as evidence.
Jessica nodded with a serious face, realizing that the problem was quite severe.
“According to that… in crude terms, pirates are being treated as ‘monsters,’ so other commanders are attacking them, causing the issue?”
“On top of that, there are natural skirmishes with fleets from other factions.”
Considering that the number of pirate ships currently deployed exceeds 100,000, and even excluding the pirate groups led by big shots like Leonard, nearly 1,000 pirate groups are participating…
In reality, only about 1-2%, or at most 5%, of them are actually contributing to proper quest completion.
Honestly, this is something even I couldn’t have predicted, and it’s a situation I never expected.
I found myself sinking into deep thought, wondering how on earth to solve this.
