Chapter 58. Tips don’t always come out the way you want, you know.
Aside from that, the sounds of users dying were echoing all over the gallery and chat rooms.
Feeling sorry for the poor newbies, the veterans started writing tips for the clueless newbies who kept messing up.
But those tips all had some vague issues.

Title: Space Monsters are f***ing dangerous, be careful
Author: Ammonite
Content: [A giant Orthoceras-type monster charging at you while getting hit by missiles and shells]
The thing is, most of these monsters don’t have long-range weapons, or if they do, they’re trash-tier.
But the moment you let them get close, your entire fleet gets shredded.
Plus, their bio-armor is ridiculously tough. Like the screenshot I posted, small ships with normal firepower can’t stop them lol.
You gotta keep running and pouring firepower while controlling your fleet to take them down.
Or, there’s this equipment called “Heavy Torpedoes” that you can get from gacha. If you equip that on your ship, it can deal meaningful damage even to medium-sized monsters.
Small monsters can even get one-shot if you’re lucky.

Title: Tiny tips for newbies struggling with space monsters
Author: Newbie Yackeyo
Content: [Image of space monsters]
First, keep in mind that this info comes from veterans, so it might change with future updates.
The first thing you need to know is that with your current fleet, you should absolutely avoid close combat with space monsters.
Unless you’ve got dozens of superhumans for PvP or large-scale battles, with one assigned to each ship, your fleet will just become iron supply food for the monsters.
Small Monsters: Size between escort ships and destroyers.
They’re the smallest in the monster fleet, and their only weapons are claws and tentacles.
But their frontal armor is tougher than armored medium destroyers, so small ship turrets or small intercept missiles won’t even scratch them.
They’ll only go down if hit directly by a cruiser-class main gun or something like the heavy torpedoes mentioned in other posts.
Medium Monsters: Size similar to cruisers, but varies by individual.
These are the real main force of the space monsters.
They do have long-range weapons, but it’s mostly for show—like a single plasma breath attack on that big guy.
But their armor is even tougher, with frontal armor literally at battleship level.
So, to break through them head-on, you’d need to either fire dozens of heavy torpedoes at once or use firepower-type cruisers or siege cruisers from gacha.
Large Monsters: Size at least battleship or larger.
From here on, if you encounter them, just accept that you’re dead.
The firepower needed to break through these guys head-on is only found in SSS-tier characters, and even then, only the pure firepower types.
They’re slower than other monsters, so one strategy is to throw a large ship as bait and flank them from behind.
But guess what? These guys are always surrounded by a ton of escort ships.
Super Large Monsters: Bigger than large monsters.
To be precise, they’re bigger than dreadnoughts or carriers.
But since you’ve never seen those two, just think of them as super battleship versions of monsters.
They’ve got insane long-range firepower, crazy armor, and are good at close combat too.
Their only weakness is being slow, but for super-large ships, that doesn’t matter much.
Queen Monster: Even bigger than the above.
It’s like an aircraft battleship version of a monster.
It’s OP because it’s good at both carrier and battleship roles, and its performance is insane.
It automatically heals nearby monster fleets, and over time, it just spawns fleets out of nowhere.
You probably won’t see one anytime soon, but if you do?
Just give up on that fleet. You’re not saving it.
Its bio-radar tracking is so insane that if the fleet that attacked it tries to escape, it’ll chase them to the ends of space and destroy everything.
And if there are other fleets nearby, it’ll destroy them too.
Oh, and besides that, there are also humanoid monsters that counter users’ superhumans and other weird stuff.
Humanoids all look so sexy, it’s kinda hot.
They look like they’re wearing full-body suits infested with tentacles, and I can totally imagine putting that on my superhumans like a skin. So hot, lol.

Space Monsters, by nature, tend to wipe out newbies’ fleets.
Most of the tips are about fleets rather than factions.

**Title:** Let’s Learn About the Annoying Space Elf Aliens
**Author:** Kanfu
**Content:** [Alien concept art]
They’re a faction called Space Elves.
Their thing is, like most games, they’re armed with insane tech but have ridiculously low numbers.
So, this faction doesn’t treat players as equals from the start. They act like they’re doing players a favor, so they’re super picky at first.
But as you complete quests, their favorability increases, and eventually, they shower you with everything.
It’s like dealing with a spoiled pet?
Anyway, as you’re probably realizing now, this faction has fewer ships but insane firepower.
Roughly, their ships have higher firepower and defense compared to regular ships of the same class.
But their defense is only high because their shields are OP; their actual armor is average or even thinner.
Their mobility is surprisingly average, though. According to their lore, rushing around is something only lowlifes do.
So, how do you deal with them?
Unlike Space Monsters, trying to control them is pointless unless you’ve pulled an S-rank or higher from the gacha.
If you zigzag, you’ll just get zigzagged on.
So, just whittle down their shields in a slugfest, then blow them up from a distance with your main ships.
Boarding is not recommended because their internal troops are on par with our superhumans.
If you’re unlucky, even SSS-rank units can get wrecked. It’s risky, yeah.

**Comments:**
– [Info posts are always a thumbs-up.]
– [Why are fleet explanations so half-assed here?]
– [This only talks about large ships; there’s nothing about small ships.]

Unlike the Space Monster posts, the Space Kanfu posts had somewhat comprehensive explanations.
But in return, the depth of those explanations was… questionable.
As for the Earth Federation…

Appearance = You know it when you see it.
Fleet performance = Similar to ours, but some special fleets are overall stronger.
How to deal with them = Similar to fighting pirates. Either beat them from a distance or go for close-quarters boarding.
Dangerous stuff = Anything labeled “Federation Main Force.” Don’t touch it unless you want to die.

They only explained what was absolutely necessary, and even that was done half-heartedly.
Seeing these veterans, the gallery users could only shake their heads in disappointment.
But regardless of the reasons, these posts were still invaluable tips for clueless newbies.
So, it wasn’t long before the newbies started gathering all these tips to create a “Sanctuary of Knowledge” within the gallery.
