Chapter 253: The Awakening Princess Ghost
After chatting with this ghostly lady for a while, Lolan Hill gained some understanding of her. Compared to other ghosts, this ice-blue girl was quite the opposite. She not only didn’t remember any obsessions but also had a deep knowledge of common sense.
“Does that mean I was someone important before?”
As the sun gradually set, the two sat on the hillside and chatted leisurely.
The wind blew occasionally from afar. Lolan Hill smoothed her messy bangs and said, “Yes, I saw the elfic script engraved under the coffin, and you should be the princess of the Ice Elves.”
That’s why she wears a crown, the girl thought. She then continued talking about the craftsmanship and materials of the coffin, which should have been made at the end of the First Era, when the Mercury Dynasty was just rising and had yet to dominate the continent.

Looking at the beneficial combination of skills, Lolan Hill couldn’t help but be amazed. If this ghost princess stood amidst an ocean of icetuberose, her combat power might rise above Sequence 7.
“From the records on the coffin, it seems so.”
Shengyin’ger was the ancient elves’ respectful title for the first World Tree, later becoming the surname of the royal family of elves. Ice represented the lineage of the Ice Elves. Recalling the inscriptions seen at the bottom of the coffin, Lolan Hill continued.
“You must have died during the war between elves and humans. Due to the urgency of the situation, there wasn’t enough time for a ceremony. To prevent your body from being desecrated by the enemy, they temporarily buried you here. They also planted your favorite icetuberose and froze your body to preserve your soul.”
“It feels like a pitiful story,” the ghost princess said, though not sad, as if listening to a stranger’s tale.
“Speaking of which, Little Lolan came to collect icetuberose seeds, right?” The ghostly figure, somewhat cool and soft, leaned against Lolan Hill and asked softly.
“Yes,” Lolan Hill hesitated whether to correct the little nickname. Why do so many people like calling her that?
As they talked more, they became familiar with each other. However, from the appearance, Yixuegelin indeed seemed much more mature. She looked around 20 years old, with a decent chest and a full figure, exuding a quiet charm.
Lolan Hill, on the other hand, seemed frozen in the appearance of 16-17, with gentle and clear eyes, a face like a dream, giving off an ethereal aura.
Their personalities shared similarities, both quiet, but Lolan Hill had a tranquil gentleness, while Yixuegelin was quiet with a touch of innocence.
“Lolan must be younger than me, so she should call me sister, hehe.” Despite losing her memory, the ghost princess didn’t mind and quickly became familiar with Lolan Hill.
Just as the two were chatting on the hillside under the sunset, a chaotic roar suddenly echoed.
A swarm of Ice Flame Bees flew over, and they brought a helper, the Fire Bear.
The Sequence 7 giant bear struck the earth, causing tremors. Guided by the bees, it charged straight towards the flower field. With each heavy step, many trees in the forest collapsed.
With the sound of wooden fibers stretching and breaking, the trees fell in disarray and were ignited by the flames.
The giant bear’s red eyes stared at the two unfamiliar girls, sniffing with its nose, excitement filling its eyes, saliva dripping involuntarily from its mouth. It had an inexplicable instinct that eating these two girls would allow it to advance to Sequence 8.
Opening its blood-red maw, revealing sharp fangs, it roared, spreading a special magical wave that knocked down nearby trees. Within three miles, the forest was swept clean, leaving only scattered burning tree trunks, occasionally bursting sparks, and the forest filled with a smoky smell.
The originally cool autumn wind suddenly turned scorching hot. After the sun set, the burning trees illuminated the forest like daylight. The heat waves spread outwards, making Lolan Hill feel scorching in front and freezing behind.
In the midst of the flames and smoke, Yixuegelin suddenly stepped in front of Lolan Hill. Before Lolan could say anything, a blindingly intense light filled her vision.
The scorching flames, almost tangible, spewed from the giant bear’s mouth, accompanied by thick black smoke, striking the ice glass barrier in front of Yixuegelin.
Steam rose, layers of ice light continuously gathered from the air, merging into the translucent ice barrier, resisting the intense fire column.
The flames pushed the ice barrier back, forming a V-shape on the ground. The two girls hid within the V, retreating constantly. The scorched edges of the land turned to ash and particles, while the center remained crystal clear like glass.
Being a ghost, Lolan Hill could see the raging flames through Yixuegelin’s body. Such high temperatures, if they hit her directly, could vaporize her instantly.
Still shaken, she calmed down and conveyed her thoughts to Yixuegelin, who was struggling to resist. Nodding, Yixuegelin’s ghostly body suddenly brightened. A small, deep blue ice flower blew out from her mouth, drifting toward the barrier.
A white ice flower bloomed on the transparent blue ice barrier, its petals like swords made of ice. This ice flower continued to bloom forward, with more and denser ice sword petals, briefly blocking the impact of the flames.
Seizing this fleeting moment, Lolan Hill spread her emerald butterfly wings, pulling Yixuegelin and rapidly flying toward the sky. Although ghosts could fly themselves, their speed was no match for Lolan Hill’s.
The giant bear, momentarily stopping its fire breath as the two escaped, lifted its head to catch the emerald figure that darted and swayed in the sky.
Taking a deep breath, a scorching fire column erupted again, sweeping across the night sky. Even from dozens of miles away, the bright fire column could be clearly seen, startling the creatures in the forest.
The wide fire column expanded in the air, over ten meters in diameter, sweeping continuously. Lolan Hill pulled Yixuegelin, weaving through the fire columns, narrowly avoiding the terrifying flames that burned upon contact.
Like a fragile butterfly dodging main cannon fire.
