The campfire where only a few children and one woman were originally present was already far from the other knights’ campfires. During drinking, no one would go near the refugees, so they were very quiet and wouldn’t be as rowdy as the knights. Therefore, I couldn’t possibly have missed anyone.

Smoke rose from their fallen bodies. Women nearby screamed in terror, and children began crying. At the same time, I heard someone shout from the camp:

Meanwhile, the short figure acted again, turning into shocking lightning arcs as they swiftly passed over the fallen knights, weaving through the crowd. In the next second, they reached the back of the knight casting the miracle.

The lightning flashed again, and with a “puff,” the electrified sword pierced through the knight’s chest from behind. There was no room for mercy. The golden light that had just appeared dimmed instantly. The knight staggered, and as the figure pulled the sword out, he widened his eyes and fell forward.

Due to the speed of the action, after the hooded figure drew out the sword, the hood was blown off by the wind, revealing purple pigtails. Before her feet even touched the ground, her true face was exposed to everyone.

It was her.

I sprang up from the rock. There was no mistake.

I’ve seen her before.

Even though I only saw her once, how could I forget that face?
