Chapter 110 I Admire Your Mother
Sophia and I hurried over.
“Are you okay?!”
“I’m fine.” Sarah immediately stood up. She shook her head, brushed the dust off her uniform, glared at the direction of the Flame Boy, and then scolded him, hopping on one foot: “F*ck you! Bastard! Are you f*cking crazy?!”
…It seemed like she was really okay.
Then I ran two steps to Daisy’s side. She seemed dazed from the fall, now kneeling on the ground, trying to rub her head when she suddenly noticed a dirty scrape on her elbow, which was already oozing blood. Daisy froze for a moment, then looked into my face—her lips trembled, her eyes reddened, and she was about to cry.
At this moment, the Flame Boy’s voice came from beside us: “Sorry, sorry~ ladies, that, I didn’t mean to. Are you okay?”
He sounded apologetic, but his careless and flippant tone clearly showed he didn’t take it seriously. This made me angry…but for now, there were more pressing matters.
I squatted down, grabbed Daisy’s delicate arm, wiped the dirt around the wound with my fingers, pouted my lips, and blew on it twice: “It doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t hurt. It’s nothing, Daisy, just a scrape.”
Daisy nodded, looking aggrieved.
“Um…I’m fine…wah—”
She sobbed and tried to hold back her tears, her lips tightly pressed together, but tears still rolled down her cheeks.
I panicked and quickly used my sleeve to wipe away her tears. While saying “it doesn’t hurt, don’t cry,” I untied the handkerchief tied around my wrist and carefully wrapped it around her scraped arm.
“Daisy, how are you?”
Seeing Daisy cry, Sophia and Sarah also came over.
“Oh! Her arm is injured…”
“I’m…I’m fine…we need to hurry…wah…quickly go to the training field…”
The words Daisy choked out ignited the emotions of the two girls. All I could hear next were their sharp rebukes and the Flame Boy’s playful defense.
“What’s wrong with you?! Is scaring us fun?!”
“Still laughing! How can you laugh after what you did?!”
“There’s no way…I said I didn’t mean to.”
“Not meaning to? Blind your dog eyes! We all moved aside for you, but you didn’t take the wide road and insisted on coming towards us. What do you think you’re doing?!”
“What could I be doing? Just that.”
“Stupid move!”
“Ladies, cursing isn’t right.”
“You still think you’re cool! Just because you use Order Power better, who are you showing off to?! Self-righteous bastard!”
“Using such a boring trick to get someone’s attention!?”
“Crying girls is the worst! Men’s shame!”
“Lowlife!”
“…Have you guys had enough?!”
“What, do you want to fight? I’ll call for help!”
After bandaging Daisy’s scrape and tying the handkerchief into a pretty bow, I helped her stand up slowly.
“Can you walk?”
“Mmm…” Daisy nodded, forcing a weak smile.
She was naturally very cute, and at this moment, her teary-eyed, forced smile was especially pitiful.
“Stop arguing…I’m fine, let’s go to the training field quickly…”
Following Daisy’s words, I turned my head toward the direction of the argument and saw the Lightning Boy, who had run ahead, return.
He hugged the nearly enraged Flame Boy, then looked at the equally angry Sarah and Sophia, smiling and mediating: “Hey, what’s going on? Don’t be so mad.”
Then he punched the Flame Boy on the shoulder: “Peter, what’s your deal! Not only did you upset the ladies, but why did you…?”
“Making someone cry? That won’t do. They should apologize properly—”
The teasing words were cut off mid-sentence as if someone had clamped their throat shut. The lightning boy’s once carefree smile froze when he met my gaze.
In that instant, I saw his pupils dilate. His slightly dazed expression made him look foolish, and I knew what he was going to say even before he said it.
“F*ck…”
As expected, a crude and unoriginal exclamation.
Two seconds later, the lightning boy, now realizing what was happening, flushed with excitement. He grabbed the fire boy by the neck and whispered in his ear.
“Look at that one, the black-haired one…”
“Praise the gods… I just noticed too. Is there such a beauty among the new trainees?”
“Did we get lucky?”
“We should work together. We have to get her.”
“You get her; I’ll get you.”
“It’s up to your skills.”
I frowned with disgust.
Thinking no one could hear them? How boring. It wasn’t worth arguing with such a childish mind. Just let them apologize and leave.
With Daisy, I walked over coldly, my eyes scanning both of their faces.
“You two, apologize properly to them.”
“Hey hey, it’s not my fault, miss,” the lightning boy pushed the boy named Peter, raising his hands in a smile. “It’s this guy… Hey, apologize!”
The fire boy shrugged. “But I already apologized.”
“Do it again, don’t leave a bad impression.”
“I’d feel embarrassed.”
At this point, Daisy gently nudged my shoulder. “Forget it, Peyelo… Let’s go.”
Hearing Daisy want to leave, the fire boy quickly changed his tone. “Apologizing isn’t a problem. But honestly, seeing that lady cry makes me feel terrible. An apology alone seems too rude. Why don’t we do this: you’re all from the same dorm, right? Give me your dorm number, and tonight, we’ll bring gifts and sincerely apologize. What do you think?”
The lightning boy clapped his hands. “That sounds great! I see no problem with it.”
“You two are dreaming!” Sophia immediately glared. “Now, bow your heads, apologize properly, and hurry! We’re in a rush to get to the training grounds!”
“Don’t rush, miss. We’re all the same. We’re first-year students too, and we’re eager to get to the training grounds. Otherwise, why would we run so fast?” The lightning boy still wore a cheerful expression.
“You’re not in a rush! You ran so fast!” Sophia stomped her foot in frustration. “We’ve got an injured person here, damn it!”
“Stop it, Sophia. Let’s go,” Sarah said darkly, coming over to support Daisy, ready to carry her again. “Peyelo, ignore them. If we don’t leave, we’ll be late.”
I tilted my head, thinking Sarah was right.
Compared to arguing with two immature boys, getting to the training grounds on time was more important.
Seeing they wouldn’t sincerely apologize anyway, I nodded.
“Alright.”
Releasing Daisy, I looked coldly at their annoying faces, and they laughed again.
“Going already? Peyelo~ miss?”
“Peyelo~ shall I escort you?”
“Peyelo~”
Next moment, my small body leaped, fists clenched, striking their slightly stunned faces.
“I’ll punch your mother.”
