Chapter 233

Yerin held the Gray Reaper in her arms, gazing at the red mist visible beyond the garden.

Although Yerin couldn’t sense the presence of the red monster, she had a strong feeling that this fog was about to invade.

“Looks dangerous.”

While she worriedly stared at the ominous red mist, the Gray Reaper in her arms began to glow brightly.

It emitted a warm golden light as if it were sleeping peacefully, its eyes tightly shut.

KUHNG. KUHNG.

At that moment, a powerful striking sound started echoing from within the red mist beyond the garden.

Though the entity causing the sound remained unseen, its effects were clear even to Yerin’s eyes.

The crimson hand breaking through the boundary was invisible, but the massive hand-shaped cracks on the space were unmistakable.

The boundary separating the red mist and the Mini Reaper Garden began to split and shatter.

“Is… is everything okay?”

As Yerin clutched the Gray Reaper tightly to comfort herself, an incredibly deep and heavy vibration resonated through the air.

WOOOONG.

Though the situation was dire, strangely enough, the sound brought a sense of reassurance rather than fear.

When Yerin turned her head toward the source of the sound coming from the sky, a Giant Black Sphere hovered above her.

[The Unchanging Black Sphere]

An object familiar from her memories.

The sphere began to rotate slowly, like waking up from a long slumber.

“!”

In that instant, the boundary of the Mini Reaper Garden shattered completely, and the red mist started surging in.

As the terrifying red mist rushed forward, Yerin clung tightly to the Gray Reaper and stared hypnotically at [The Unchanging Black Sphere].

Then [The Unchanging Black Sphere] began rotating faster and started emitting intense shockwaves.

Like morning sunlight dispersing fog, the shockwaves kept the red mist at bay.

And when the sphere’s rotation reached a certain speed, it violently tore apart.

A massive black hand emerged from within [The Unchanging Black Sphere].

With a shadowy texture, like condensed darkness, the hand fiercely shredded [The Unchanging Black Sphere].

Thick black liquid poured out from the torn gaps.

With the viscosity of heavy oil, it flowed smoothly in curved lines from [The Unchanging Black Sphere] to the ground, spreading across the floor.

In no time, it transformed the surroundings into a pitch-black pool.

Soon, the Black Reapers gathered around Yerin, jumping excitedly with heightened excitement.

“Strong Mom!”

The moment the black liquid stopped flowing from [The Unchanging Black Sphere], a Giant Shadow rose from the pool.

A shapeless form, lacking dimension like a shadow.

Legs firmly planted as if rooted into the pool below.

Long arms extending down almost touching the ground.

Glowing white eyes.

And three pairs of shining halos floating above the shadow’s head.

It was a silhouette that seemed to embody all the world’s darkness and nightmares.

But strangely, Yerin felt this shadow resembled the Gray Reaper.

No, she was certain.

“Woah, a giant reaper!”

Was it because of the glowing eyes and heart?

Though Yerin didn’t understand why, she was confident this shadow wasn’t harmful.

“Mom!”

The Black Reapers were going wild with joy, celebrating the sight of the shadow monster.

The shadow slowly looked around like a king surveying his domain.

The imminent red mist and the black shadows covering the ground.

The shadow slowly extended its hands forward.

***

I tightly closed my eyes and consumed Yerin’s firewood while lying inside [The Unchanging Black Sphere], summoning the giant corpse.

As I did, [The Unchanging Black Sphere] hovering in the garden sky gradually revealed itself above my head.

It appeared hazy at first, like spaces being stitched together, then became increasingly distinct.

Even though the firewood was being rapidly consumed just by the summoning alone, the warmth emanating from Yerin’s embrace comforted me.

Yerin’s increasing firewood power had grown strong enough to handle the giant corpse.

Looking up at [The Unchanging Black Sphere] above my head, I thought to myself:

“Have you arrived, Body?”

Then I channeled my willpower and transferred my consciousness into the unchanging sphere.

Inside the pitch-black sphere, I opened my eyes.

What once seemed infinitely vast when entering the Gray Reaper’s body now felt oppressively cramped through the corpse’s eyes.

The void and silence devoid of any sensation.

Compared to the omnipotence that once encompassed the universe, this space felt unbearably confined.

If one were to think in human terms, it was like being trapped in a prison where you couldn’t lie down, stand properly, or fully extend your arms.

KUHNG.

As I stood up, a tearing-like impact reverberated throughout the internal space.

When I placed my hand on the outer wall of [The Unchanging Black Sphere] and pressed, the massive body began slowly emerging outside.

The constricted sensations within [The Unchanging Black Sphere] started spreading across the Mini Reaper Garden.

And when the last piece of flesh inside [The Unchanging Black Sphere] escaped, the overwhelming sensations filled not only the Mini Reaper Garden but covered the entire Earth.

“Ahhh.”

Once again, omnipotence spread through my entire body.

I could feel how noisy and chaotic Earth was.

All kinds of wishes, passions, hopes.

All kinds of despair, jealousy, pain.

They flowed into my body like a tremendous current.

My vision was soon filled with streams of gray wishes.

Overwhelmed by the current, I couldn’t move a single finger.

I felt like I was losing myself in that overwhelming stream of wishes.

“What should I do?”

“What was I doing?”

In the midst of that gray torrent, the brightest, whitest flame burned like a lighthouse.

[Oh merciful Father, please do not turn away from my prayer.]

[Save my soul.]

The clearest and most intense light served as a guiding beacon.

Just as I reached for the lantern, a voice echoed.

“Woah, a giant reaper!”

“Mom!”

There was a warm golden flame.

When I strongly grasped the golden flame, I managed to escape the gray torrent and open my eyes in the Mini Reaper Garden.

“Mom!”

The happy Black Reapers jumped around joyfully.

Yerin hugged my original body tightly and looked at me.

And the red mist that seemed ready to engulf us.

Now, I clearly understood where I was standing.

The Black Reapers went crazy with joy seeing me control this body, but something strange happened.

Even as they celebrated, they trembled in fear whenever I looked down at them with this body.

When their gaze fell, they returned to their frenzied state.

Hmm, mini reapers are still so hard to understand.

Yerin seemed confident that I was controlling this body.

Still, Yerin is Yerin.

When I turned my gaze to the red mist, I felt nothing.

So threatening before.

So powerful.

But now, it posed no threat to me.

Space, dimensions, rules, causality.

All of these were merely external entities from another realm.

Beings that struggled just to set foot on this land.

To remove the red monster and the red mist, I raised both hands and grabbed the entire space where the red monster existed.

The red monster desperately flailed to escape.

Had I used the ordinary spatial fixation with the Gray Reaper’s body, the space-time-free red monster would have easily broken free.

But the spatial fixation with the corpse’s body wasn’t just grabbing space; it was capturing existence itself.

“Hehe, can’t go!”

Then I began gathering firewood above the halo floating above my head.

Something I couldn’t do as the Gray Reaper, but somehow felt I could now.

As I started collecting firewood over the halo, the Black Reapers also took on black corpse forms and began gathering firewood above their heads.

When the firewood reached its critical point, it shot out as a dazzling beam towards the red monster.

“Strong Mom Beam!”

“Mom Beam!”

Simultaneously, the Black Reapers also fired beams of yellow light.

This beam, which lacked physical substance, severed the connection between the red monster and Earth, creating a massive hole in space.

Beyond the hole, a world filled with various colors briefly appeared, and the red monster and mist began being sucked into it.

As the red mist disappeared through the fissure, the twisted and damaged open lot began returning to its original form.

The red monster clung to the empty air with its giant arm, resisting being pulled in.

[■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■]

Its mouth wide open, it seemed to be shouting something at me, but no sound came out—only incomprehensible magical waves scattered in all directions.

Even though the red monster dug its sharp claws into the space, the rift’s suction force was too great.

The space the red monster clung to tore apart entirely, pulling it into the fissure.

As soon as the red monster disappeared into the other side of space, the fissure vanished.

“Finally, it’s over.”

Thinking that, I looked down at the ground to see the Black Reapers hopping around, radiating “We won!” with determination.

It was time to return to my original body.

Just as I turned to retreat back into the unchanging sphere.

KUHNG!

A heavy sound of space tearing echoed.

Once again, space ripped apart, and the red monster stretched out its hand.

One hand tore the boundary of the fissure, while the other firmly grabbed one of the corpse’s hands.

[■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■]

[■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■]

The red monster clutched my hand, wildly emitting magical waves in what seemed like a desperate attempt.

For a moment, I felt like I might be dragged into that space, but the corpse’s hand moved on its own, tearing the space to shreds.

Without any resistance, the red monster was helplessly sucked into the other side of space.

The red monster, being pulled into the gaping fissure, never took its eyes off me until the fissure completely closed.

“Hmph.”

Feeling drained from consuming most of the firewood, I watched the recovering space.

“With Yerin around, it seems controlling this for a long time is still tough.”

For some reason, the consumption rate of firewood kept increasing.

It felt like the firewood was slowly slipping away and disappearing somewhere else.

And the corpse kept trying to move on its own, making it harder to control.

“Well, at least we successfully repelled those who attacked me, so that’s settled.”

With a relieved feeling, I watched the bandage bundles with legs running toward me and disconnected from the corpse.
