The alpha type test for “Galaxy Craft” has begun.
There were still many areas to refine, but the basic gameplay was complete.
Testing took place in the Crystal Ball PC Room within the Irene School, where up to 16 vs 16 matches were possible.
Since everyone had played during development, they already had a grasp on the basic game rules and their preferred races, making the test smooth.
To spice things up for fun, we held it in a tournament format, and standout players began to emerge.
『 Defeat 』
“Uwaaaang!!! Jiren oppa, that’s too much!!!”
“Hoohoo, weak weak!!”
Jiren went all out against the much younger Lauren, destroying Terran’s Nexus with a Mutalisk rush and securing victory.
His early rush with Zerglings and microcontrol with the aerial unit Mutalisk made it reminiscent of a pro gamer from a past life.
I recognize you as the Emperor of Zergs (Irene School exclusive).
『 Victory 』
“Julia noona!!! That’s just unfair!!! How could you do something like that!!!?”
“Hahahaha!!! Reflect on your all-in strategy on the Battlecruiser, Barren!”
Julia, a Terra character transformed into a Protoss, defeated Barren’s Protoss forces.
After using a defense crystal (defensive structure) for space defense, she expertly utilized her late-game units.
Especially when Barren committed to the Protoss’s ultimate air unit, Battlecruiser, Julia summoned a Dark Archmage and won by taking over the fleet with Mind Control.
With a victorious performance, she even had a Worker Mind Controlled to build a Command Center, completely shattering Barren’s mentality.
Julia’s teabagging skills were always on point.
I acknowledge you as the Queen of Terra (Irene School exclusive).
And at that moment, what was I doing…
Boom! Boom! Boom boom!
“Uwaaa!!! My disciple!!!! This is too much!!!!!”
My master was bombarding his Terra base with the Protoss Siege Tanks transported by dropships.
Watching Workers explode from sudden bombardments while transporting magic stones, my master hurriedly called in the Zealots to charge with the Siege Tanks.
But the Zealots couldn’t withstand the Siege Tanks’ firepower and exploded one by one.
Sorry, Master, it’s nothing personal.
『 Victory 』
Thus, I destroyed my master’s Nexus and emerged victorious.

After the tournament, three survivors remained.
Moreover, there was no overlap in races.
While having one last 1 vs 1 match between the winner and the remaining player was an option, I proposed something more fun.
“How about we settle it in a three-way battle?”
“A three-way battle?”
“A three-way battle?”
I suggested a three-way battle to Julia and Jiren.
In games, the more variables, the more fun it is.
The two were somewhat hesitant about my proposal.
“A three-way battle…”
“Sounds like it might give me a headache.”
They seemed reluctant because there were many things to worry about in a three-way match.
I invoked the magical chant to persuade the gamers.
“Are you guys… scared?”
“We’re not scared!!”
“We’re not scared!! Let’s do it!!! Three-way battle!!!”
Whether in another world or in a past life, gamers just can’t hold back when it comes to pride.
Thus, the game began between me, Julia, and Jiren in a three-way battle.
The races were as follows:
Julia: Terra / Jiren: Zergs / Me: Protoss.
As the game started, I began mining resources and immediately sent a Worker to scout.
Julia’s Terra was at 3 o’clock, and Jiren’s Zergs were at 7 o’clock.
The problem with a three-way battle is that it’s hard to make the first move.
If someone engages, someone else gains the upper hand.
Therefore, the most certain strategy would be to play cautiously and focus on space defense for a late-game advantage.
…or so everyone thought.
As soon as I wrapped up minimal preparation, I sent a Worker armed with a Zealot right to Julia’s front yard.
Yes, the ancient strategy,
Bunkering.
“Hey!! What’s going on!!?”
Julia noticed my bunker when it was about 80% completed.
Flustered, Julia dispatched Workers and Zealots to attack my bunker.
But it was already too late.
The superior technology of this world’s Protoss allowed me to repair the bunker with Workers.
Eventually, the bunker completed, and I inserted Zealots into it, executing a perfect bunker rush.
“Yuren! You cheeky bastard!! Is this your way of playing dirty from the start!!”
“Hahaha!!! It’s Barren’s revenge!!!”
Julia was caught off guard by the superior alien civilization’s bunker.
But true to her skill, she managed to tech up to Stalkers and successfully destroyed the bunker.
Just when Julia thought she could breathe easy,
Swoosh!!!!!!
“What’s this!!!?”
Jiren’s Zergling army invaded.
Jiren’s Zerglings delivered the final blow to Julia’s base, making her the first to be eliminated.
『 Defeat 』
“Are you two colluding against me!?”
“What are you talking about? We didn’t collude at all.”
“Right, Julia noona, we didn’t say anything!”
We didn’t collude.
But we had a strong suspicion.
If it was Jiren, he would definitely attack Julia early on.
I was sure Jiren thought the same.
“Shall we go for a real match then?”
“Sure thing. Please hold out a bit longer, Your Honor.”
What a cheeky guy.
Has Jiren been brainwashed by the Hive Mind due to playing too much Zerg?
His arrogance was sky-high.
This wouldn’t do; I had to show him ‘that.’
The one that made many pro gamers realize that there’s always someone greater.
“Yessss!!! The fierce contest between Yuren and Jiren continues! Which race will be left smiling in the end!?”
Before I knew it, Noirin began the commentary, and my match with Jiren was heating up.
Jiren deployed Lurkers and Defilers to harass my ground units, continuously striking with Mutalisks.
I slowly gathered a mechanized army, preparing for the final clash.
“Ahhhh!!! Finally, they clash. Yuren’s Zealots and Jiren’s Hydralisks are locked in battle!!! Gunfire and blood are everywhere!!!”
I called forth Zealots, Siege Tanks, and Goliaths, while Jiren brought Hydralisks, Lurkers, and Mutalisks for a direct confrontation.
The battle was evenly matched.
And then, the real showdown began.
“What the hell is that!!? A dropship is flying to Jiren’s base!”
As the battle raged in the center, I launched a dropship filled with Zealots into Jiren’s main base.
Normally, it would have been tough to penetrate with his Mutalisks there.
But since all his units were gathered for a central fight, the drop was feasible.
“Yuren! Is this really okay? There are Lurkers that Jiren set up over there!!”
But Jiren had prepared for that as well.
Aside from the units he needed for the battle, I could only deploy six Zealots.
With just one Lurker and one Spore Crawler waiting in Jiren’s base, he could easily defend against me.
If the Lurkers began their assaults, my six Zealots were toast.
At least in a conventional sense.
Bang bang bang bang!!! Kwoooorrrr!!!!
“Ah!!!! What’s happening!!!?”
I micro-controlled each one of my Zealots to dodge the Lurker’s spines!
This was the legendary pro-gamer’s ultimate move,
“The Marine Micro to Kill Lurkers.”
In a past life, it would have been impossible.
But with who I am now!
As this idiot who could copy anything he saw, it was entirely doable.
Kwooeeeeeek!!!!!
“No way!!! I did it!!! Yuren!!! Not a single Zealot was lost as I took down the Lurkers and Spore Crawler!!!”
With the ultimate defense line of Lurkers and Spore Crawlers removed, what followed was a massacre.
I meticulously eliminated Jiren’s Zerg Workers one by one.
Seeing the situation, Jiren hurriedly attempted to withdraw his forces.
I can forgive Jiren for his cockiness.
But will my Siege Tanks forgive him!?
As Jiren’s retreating units were roasted beautifully by the Siege Tanks, the aftermath claimed significant losses for Jiren’s Workers and combat units.
Once the power balance tipped like this, the ensuing snowball effect would be cruelly brutal.
Ultimately, struggling to recover, Jiren could only play defense and took three nuclear strikes from me, eventually surrendering.
『 Defeat 』
“Damn it, you really play like -beep-!!!”
Boom!!!!
The long-awaited chair shot felt immensely refreshing.
Yes, this is why I played Galaxy.
