[TS] Became a Peach Saint – Chapter 55

I was in the director’s car for quite a while. Through the car window, I saw a huge building.

It was TG, a game company. Most people call it “TG” or “Three Games.” It’s a place created by people who are obsessed with games made for games, by games, and about games.

The Helron Chronicle I used to play also came from here.

“It’s really big,” I said.

The director smiled proudly and pulled into the parking lot.

“We’ve arrived.”

Following the director’s lead, I entered the TG Building. Inside, employees were bustling around with their ID cards hanging around their necks.

My pink hair, military jacket draped over my shoulders, and Baekseol perched on my head drew attention with every step I took.

“This is the exhibition hall,” the director explained.

Inside the building, there was a space prepared for tours. As I looked around the area showcasing TG’s history, I noticed a section dedicated to Helron Chronicle.

“I used to play Helron,” I said.

“Oh, really? How was it?”

“It was super fun. Watching Helbung-i wobble around with a sword and shield made me want to crush it.”

The director laughed and said that Helron has been improved recently, balancing out the upgrades, and it’s quite good now.

After touring around with the director, we arrived at a shooting studio.

“No one’s here,” I said.

“The other rooms are busy with filming. This one will be used when Lady Han Ga-eul is filming,” the director explained.

While chatting with the director in the empty studio, someone walked in from behind.

“Hello.”

“Welcome, Director.”

The person called “Director” wore square glasses and had a strict demeanor. He exchanged greetings with the director.

“This is Lady Han Ga-eul, who will be the promotional model for Panic Field this time.”

“Hello. I’m Han Ga-eul.”

The director stared at me blankly for a moment before snapping out of it and greeting me.

“Oh my, I’m sorry. I’m the director in charge of the ad shoot. I’ve never seen someone as beautiful as you before. I thought you jumped out of a game. Director, we need to film this ASAP. This is going to be a huge hit.”

The director rambled excitedly.

“I haven’t signed the contract yet,” I said.

The director’s eyes widened at my words.

“What?”

The director chuckled awkwardly.

“She hasn’t signed yet. That’s why we’re touring the building.”

“Oh my, Director. We *have* to do this.”

“I know,” the director replied.

It was clear they were discussing whether or not to proceed.

[Bangjang, turn on the screen, it’s frustrating.]

[Heheung, the Bangjang’s pocket is so warm.]

[Is this ASMR? LOL]

[Can’t film here because it’s the TG office building, LOL. Just listen.]

The director, who was talking with the director, approached me.

“Lady Han Ga-eul, the director here is an expert who specializes in filming everything from commercials to music videos. He’ll do a great job for you.”

At the director’s words, the director, with sparkling eyes, looked at me.

“But can we show our kids while filming?”

At my words, the director turned his head to the director as if it wasn’t his concern.

“Your kids, you mean?”

“Lady Han Ga-eul is an internet broadcaster. I think she’s talking about her viewers.”

“Ah, so you’re an internet broadcaster.”

The director thought for a moment and then shook his head.

“Revealing the production process midway is one way to do it. But when Lady Ga-eul’s commercial is released, it’ll have a huge impact. I think it’d be a waste to miss that.”

[Bangjang, we want to see it too.]

[That’s the right call.]

[Still, only the Bangjang thinks about us.]

It was a simple thought of wanting to be with the viewers, but hearing the director’s words, I nodded, thinking he was right.

“Ah, and this is Baekseol.”

At my words, Baekseol, who was rolling around on my head, stretched out her front paw toward the director.

“Wow, so smart and cute.”

The director extended a finger to touch Baekseol’s tiny paw.

“How about filming with this friend too? She’s smart, so she won’t interfere with the filming, and it’ll enhance Lady Ga-eul’s character.”

While discussing filming with the two, the topic of being hungry came up, so we moved to the cafeteria.

“Can we film just me and the food?”

“Yes. That’s no problem here.”

At the director’s words, I set up a mount on the table and started the screen broadcast.

“This is the TG cafeteria.”

I showed the viewers the bulgogi and various side dishes piled on my tray.

[The bulgogi looks delicious.]

[TG has class, LOL.]

“I got a lot of delicious stuff.”

As I was about to eat, I felt a tapping on my head and reached into my pocket.

“Status Window.”

[Ding!]

Now, even a whisper is enough to open the status window skillfully. I quickly bought Baekseol’s meal from the shop and pretended to take it out of my pocket.

“Baekseol, eat your meal.”

Baekseol, who was on my head, jumped down, took the golden bell flower from my hand, drank some water, and then climbed onto my shoulder.

[Baekseol’s resting place is the Bangjang’s head, and the dining table is…]

[Is that a shoulder?]

[LOLOLOLOLOLOL That’s freaking hilarious]

The director and producer were seen staring at Baekseol with fascination.

“Director, can you give me the contract earlier?”

“You’re signing the contract here?”

“I don’t like dragging things out. But I’m not really familiar with contracts.”

“If you read it, you’ll see it’s packed with clauses that are favorable to Lady Han Ga-eul. Thanks to that, I got an earful of criticism.”

The director handed over the contract with a bitter smile.

“Isn’t a contract a silent war? Why did you go so far?”

“Lady Han Ga-eul, your viewers are watching. It’s a bit intimidating, you know.”

[Whoosh!]

[Whoosh is just nonsense LOLOLOL]

“Our kids are nice.”

I could see the director’s mouth trembling as he laughed at my words.

Leaving the sweating director behind, I skimmed through the contract. The clauses were laid out in straightforward terms, seemingly for my benefit.

<Advertisement Contract>

Three Game (hereinafter referred to as “Party A”) and Han Ga-eul (hereinafter referred to as “Party B”) hereby agree to the following contract:

1. Advertisement Content

a. Filming and promotion of TG’s game “Panic Field”

2. Contract Amount

a. Amount: 170,000,000 KRW (including VAT: 187,000,000 KRW)

b. Payment: Post-payment

3. Advertisement Broadcast and Schedule

Details attached

a. Production Method: Outsourcing (hiring a director), in-house (studio, props, and personnel)

b. Party A will notify Party B of the advertisement start date

Even with my lack of knowledge, the contract was easy to read without any glaring issues.

“But isn’t the contract amount wrong?”

The amount written was much larger than the number on the summary sheet I saw earlier, and the same went for the character release contract on the back page.

“That’s the amount including taxes so you can receive the exact amount we discussed earlier.”

“You’re being too generous to a rookie.”

“Well, it’s not exactly a favor, but we hope to maintain a good relationship with TG in the future. That’s how this industry works.”

“Alright, I get it. I can’t really complain when you’re being so considerate.”

[Ding!]

[Red Parade has sponsored 1,000,000 KRW]

[Whoosh!]

[Is the chairman crazy LOLOLOL]

After finishing the conversation with the director and reading the contract, the producer approached me.

“Miss Ga-eul, since you’re here, how about doing some filming today?”

“It’s not like roasting beans in a lightning strike, but can we just do it like this all of a sudden?”

The producer handed me a script and continued.

“Filming preparations are already done, and the staff…”

“The crew is all set. Just let Ga-eul do her acting.”

“No, I’m not ready yet.”

Caught off guard by the director’s sudden remark, I quickly flipped through the script to find the scene and lines written down.

– Main character taking cover behind a ruined building in the middle of a battlefield (breathing heavily).

– Main character quickly aiming (close-up of hand slowly pulling the trigger).

– Pulling the pin and throwing a grenade.

– Main character lying in the grass, aiming a sniper rifle (camera arcs low, brushing against the grass).

..

– Main character running at full speed, sweating (front running shot, then out).

..

..

“There aren’t many lines. Most of it will be short, impactful cutscenes.”

Noticing the filming techniques written after the lines, I checked the cover of the script and realized it was the director’s copy.

“Let’s grab some food first.”

After eating while reviewing the script, we headed to the studio I had seen earlier. The director must have called ahead because several staff members were already there.

“Hello!”

A cheerful greeting came from behind, and as I turned my head, a female staff member approached.

“I’m Kim Mi-yeon, the stylist for this commercial.”

“Nice to meet you. I’m Han Ga-eul.”

“Wow, your style is amazing! The way you draped the military jacket over your shoulders really suits you. Can I take your measurements real quick?”

“Sure, go ahead.”

The stylist pulled out a tape measure, took measurements here and there, and then looked at the director with a troubled expression.

“Director, we can’t find clothes that fit the actor right now.”

“The prepared free sizes don’t fit? Contact the stage costume manager.”

“Even if we do, there won’t be any.”

As the stylist spoke to the director, she glanced at my chest. The director seemed to notice and awkwardly addressed me.

“Uh… Ga-eul, I’m sorry. It seems we’re not fully prepared.”
